Dr Milsom was my surgeon at Cleveland Clinic in 1989. He saved my life. I am healthy 24 years later due to his expertise. I wish he was still at Cleveland Clinic but it was great to see him in this video. He was so kind, witty, and caring. Many years after my surgery I ran into him at an airport. I went up to introduce myself, but before I could he called me by name and gave me hug and asked about my family. I think that says it all.

Dr. Milsom performed jpouch surgery on me in 2005 and gave me my life back after 20 years of severe ulcerative colitis that almost killed me. Not only is he a gifted surgeon but a really nice man who put me and my family at ease through the entire surgical experience.

My name is Alan Tracey and I will forever be grateful to Dr. Milsom performing surgery for my Crohn's disease at Mt Sinai hospital 15 years ago. I have been in remission since the surgery and owe my normal life style to Dr. Milsom. Thank you Dr. Milsom!

I will second all the comments below. Dr Milsom gave me my life back as well. In addition, he is the most compassionate and caring doctor I have ever met, and unfortunately I have met quite a few. I consider myself fortunate to have met him, and remember every day the quality of life he gave back to me.

I've heard of Dr. Milsom and how talented he is. Having a J-pouch myself, it was a pleasure to finally "meet him"! Thanks you for sharing this video of a day in his life. CeCe
