The Hadzabe Tribe is located in Lake Eyashi, Tanzania. If you're coming for a safari in the Northern Circuit (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, etc...), we highly recommend that you visit them as part of your itinerary. It makes the whole safari experience more diverse where you don't only see the wildlife but you also gain a more in-depth cultural experience of the tribes of Tanzania.
The Hadzabe Tribe is known for being the only population in east Africa that continues to rely extensively on hunting and gathering for food. They speak Hadza, a click-language that's absolutely one of a kind!
The tour starts very early in the morning. You should be staying in hotels near the area of Lake Eyashi the day before as you would have to wake up at around 4-5am the next day if you want to see their actual hunting of bigger animals. You would be provided a tour guide that speaks their language and in the tour that should last half a day, you will gain meaningful lessons about their very simple way of life, so much different from our modern society. The men hunt while the women gather fruits and take care of the children. The Hadzabe tribes are nomads and don't keep livestock- they move according to their needs and/or when the resources become scarce.
