I went to the island of Santos Vanuatu about 20 years ago now. We had a tribe meet us on the beach and perform a tribal welcome dance and we stayed with them for one week. There was no electricity and we ate chickens and river prawns. It was a very interesting culture. We were personal guests from a lady we met in Vanuatu. I would do it again. People are just happier hence why we are always close to the spot 1 happiest place on earth and actually won that tittle twice if I remember correctly. If you ever go travel there, Efate, the main island, is great but we used to have a huge sign at the airport saying “Efate isn’t Vanuatu” because truth be told, the other island are way more beautiful!
