House cleaning can be so overwhelming. When you think about everything and don't know where to start so you don't start. And it's absolutely okay to not want to throw any of Kori's things away! Ostarra's shelf looks great! You are so crafty with dyeing the scroll paper. Wishing you luck and calm seas tomorrow. And I would have reacted to the same to those young people. They thought they were being cool. They may not have expected your response, but they won't forget it.

"I feel sad every time I go in his room with a Hoover." These subtle details of grief are hardly ever explored, it seems to me, & you could write a descriptive article about Living With Grief. Just writing describing what it is like in the ongoing aftermath to keep memories close while going about your business one day to the next because the lifeforce in life grabs our lapels and forces us to carry on no matter how we grieve. So an article that transparently discloses those everyday life details in a simple way, like what you said, "I feel sad every time I go in his room with a Hoover," but also describes you simply gardening or shopping or noticing the seasons changing or even the mechanics of making a ytube video, might be useful for other bereaved ppl to read & even for ppl who are not yet bereft (because bereavement comes to us all sooner or later many times). Or part of the article could even be a direct address to Kori to channel your feelings - - whatever approach channels yr prose. It's only like Spanky constructing all those house fittings, but instead you;d be constructing short passages of observations together in prose for, what, maybe 1500 words? Writing Living With the Aftermath, maybe in simple diary form, might be therapeutic as well as reaching some profound understandings, Pixi. You could ponder which periodical to submit to afterwards.

Aw thankyou so much!! She is mostly all her daddy, she adores him. Her room was a labour of love but SO hard to do as she shared it with her brother from birth and when he passed away last year, we redecorated the whole room (which emotionally was SO hard for me), to give her a beautiful space as she was having a hard time accepting it x

So much to do and so little time it seems! Happy Birthday Ostarra!!!!! Seven years, so grown up. Can't wait to see it all done and the results of the BBC awards. The parchment paper looks great, I used to do that too with school projects. In one of my high school classes we had to do a wagon train. We grouped up and picked our random story lines. Depending on what you picked to do, certain things may or may not happen. So if you took the trail to the right, you might be attacked by Indians and have a % of your party die and so on. If you had picked to go to the right, you might have fallen into a hole or actually made it to the next town safely. Each group had different outcomes. It was so much fun to do. I made a page from someone's diary depicting what we did that day. So I used to tea bags to dye the paper to make it look old and burned the edges too. That teacher made that class so fun. None of the other History of the American West teachers did that. Such good memories. Thanks for sharing your day with us. Love Jamie & Karl

Hi Pixi, I feel you, I hate the fourth cuz my son passed away on Dec. 4th. The 9th bothers me too, cuz my son passed in 2009. I love how you guys are so great together. I did subscribe to John's channel last night. I've got to catch up on all the videos. Everything looks beautiful. When we had wood burners, we cut our own wood from our property. It was hard work. I wasn't allowed to use the age when I was young cuz I almost chopped myself, lol. Spiders is my fear. I have to go out into the desert to see them here, but then they are like your pets, which terrifies me. We can count on 2 hands the times we get rain here in Arizona. We've been in a drought for at least a decade. I wish I could win the lottery to help you. If I did, I probably would help everyone I love and forget me, lol. Kori is still with you, always will be. Kori still loves his room. It doesn't sound stupid, I relate completely. The little things still hit me the hardest. Ostarra is adorable. Enjoy yourself at the awards shows. Looking forward to the videos. You are so creative, love the scrolls. You are NOT an idiot. People can be morons. F them. Nana is a legend. Much love ❤ Jacque
