You should look at getting litter mats for the outside of your tray! We have them for ours and it allows the cats to get the litter off the bottom of their paws and stops them from getting litter around the house (although not 100%!) x

Do you plan on letting Echo having full range of the outside or just your garden? We're thinking about getting a kitten. Possibly a Mau or Ragdoll later in the year, but ideally don't want to cat proof the garden. Great videos by the way.

It’s generally recommended to not let ragdolls (and other certain breeds) free roam outside unsupervised, i.e outside of your garden / home due to their ‘docile’ nature. They unfortunately aren’t as aware as some other breeds when it comes to dangers outside which can be dangerous and due to them being classed as ‘luxury’ they can also be targeted for thefts.

Haha that makes me happy to hear! I feel the same about cat videos 😂 I asked our breeder when we brought him home because I was concerend too but she said because it's raw you risk bacteria growing on it if you let it get to room temp and it doesn't seem to phase him as it's all he's over known 😊

Loving your channel. I'm getting a Ragdoll x Persian kitten in a few weeks time (just met him this weekend!) and your videos have been amazing in providing guidance and advice. I'm hoping to eventually clicker train him to sit on his bed when the doorbell rings etc, and I wondered what treats you would recommend for motivating a Ragdoll kitten.

A most awesome video on the Rag-Doll breed. And trust me. I've seen my share of vids. All the same, I have a 20-pound black & white cat named Tuxedo. And I honestly think he is part Rag-Doll. I don't know this for sure, but she shares all the signs. For example, he has a sensitive stomach, and he is not a good fighter (because he is such a lover) and he has this talent for instantly making friends with dogs. So I don't know. My fat baby ... I should make a video of him.

usually the 100% natural litters you can flush it down the toilet. Look at the description on the website you got it from or maybe in the back of the packaging.

I love your videos and I know Echo is an important part of your life, but I enjoy your other content (with occasional Echo appearances) so much more. I love kitties (we are currently "hosting" 5 or more feral cats for tnr ... one of them looks like a Ragdoll even!) but I miss your other content like your food/eating/health journey. Not going anywhere because I find you to be a likable person and I pretty regularly watch your older content, but I just thought I would offer that as another perspective. He’s a big part of my life now but I gained a lot of nee subscribers when I brought him home so trying to make content I feel everyone will enjoy and though those who aren’t bothered about Echo will just skip past the ones of him. Depends on how he’s feeling but usually sleeps on the floor next to the bed. If he’s cold or wants some love he’ll come sleep with us. I love when he sleeps at my feet and wouldn’t change it personally! 🥰

Hi, firstly, I wish you well, and Echo is love!y. I've been a subscriber a long time. However, this video is like looking at people's ho!today photos! I totally get it because I've had cats all my life, but I'm personally finding it too much. This is just some feedback for you. I'm not requesting you do anything different. It's just not for me. You are a lovely person and I hope you do take this as feedback rather than an attack. He’s a big part of my life now but I am still sharing videos with content about slow living and minimalism with videos of echo mixed in for subscribers who came when I brought him home. A cat is a cat. It has never been a toddler and it wont be. Secondly, there are so many cats, dogs needed a home, I am against buying pets. There is so much suffer behind the curtains. Are you conscious of that?

I am aware, I explained my decision not to adopt in the first video I made with echo. Adoption is a great option but it doesn’t work for every family or every home. My home wasn’t suitable for a rescue cat that wanted access to the outdoors (indoor cats rarely come, I was on the waiting list for nearly a year) as I live near a busy road. I tried but they wouldn’t allow me to.

Hi Joanna, I respect your thoughts and concerns. But don’t you think it’s sometime too overboard making someone feel guilty for a personal decision they have made. I love the fact that, adopted from a breeder or from shelter home, more and more people coming on you tube spreading their love towards animals. We should appreciate this. Weather it’s Eco the ragdoll or Milo the domestic cat, if any pet making your and their life beautiful, it’s awesome.

And every one should raise their voice against any unethical practice or cruelty, and always do the due diligence before buying or adopting. However, my point was about personal choice. As humans we produce offspring, knowing that fact there so many living in Forster homes or orphanage, and many of them face abuse too. Peace. 🙏🏻
