Was it hard to get Milo to sleep separate from you guys? Picking up my doodle on Saturday!

We started crate training and having him sleep apart from us since the day he came home! I would say the first week was a little rough, he would whine in the middle of the night but within a couple weeks the crate became his safe haven and he absolutely loves having that personal space! Use a crate cover/throw to cover up the crate for a cave feel - it really helps. We were moving when this was filmed so his crate was very bare, it’s usually covered and padded with cushions 😊

I have a standard size golden doodle puppy; he is a really fun dog, so energetic; he will play fetch ball all day if you let him and loves to go on walks. We love our golden.

Aw it took Milo awhile until he's finally able to sleep in! We are so thankful he does now.. can't imagine waking up at 7am sharp daily again 😅

It’s all about training! I think mini doodles would make a fine apartment dog. They are energetic but not overly energetic and still small enough where an apt size is comfortable for them! He’s never really been a barker but Milo did recently find his bark and we’ve been trying to train him to tame it - it’s really all about training! Hope this helps 🙂

Wow 10 months!! Time really flew by! I remember when you were still anxiously waiting for him to come home! @@DoodleDude I am impressed, you have very good memory about our conversation! Thank you for the tips. I will check on it. Snoopy ( my pup’s name) is currently still on prescription kibbles 😔 and am hoping we can gradually switch to normal kibbles. Didn’t know Milo went through all that too…😮 I haven’t had a chance to upload Snoopy’s 點滴⋯⋯😔 hope to be able to show you his pics soon now that he is easier to take care of. Thank you! We were feeding Milo the honest kitchen kibble but recently switched to open farm! Highly recommend both - it’s the only brands that he’ll consistently eat

What a beautiful and sweet little doggie. I love this breed, labradoodles, schnauzers, poodles and sheep dogs. They don't like the dried food, my mini Nilly would only eat it with wet food, cottage cheese and carrot slices and after awhile, she wouldn't touch it, wet food with turkey or chicken, veggies and eggs with olive oil is good, they love it and it helps to maintain a healthy life and a nice, shiny coat. The dried food can be poison and have too much Vitamin D, which in large doses can be bad for digestion and even kill the dog. Vets won't tell you that, that's how they make money, when the dog is sick, not health, kind of twisted, huh?

I brought my mini goldendoodle for his first vet visit last week. Does the dog really need all these vaccines and medications for preventing heartworm etc. Vet states dried food is good. I find that hard to believe

Dog food is the worst shit you can ever give your dog. You are feeding him nothing but crap in the long run it increases the chances of heart failure.

You are a bad guy!! How can u lock up the dog in this cage over night! Shame on you! You don’t deserve to have such a cute dog! How could you even sleep at night while your dog is in that cage! Shame on you!! I‘m so in rage!! In Germany we treat dogs better than that!! How would you feel to get lock up in a cage?!? There isn‘t even a thick blanket in it!!
