Yes these kinda nightmares scare me too sometimes and I wake up suddenly just like you said. My mom asked me to keep something made of metal below my pillow like a knife, scale or key and from then onwards i’m not getting these scary dreams 😂 i don’t know the logic behind this but it helps anyway.
