A day on Tabarca Island | ferry from Santa Pola | expats in Spain | places to visit Costa Blanca

During our July "Staycation" we did a day trip to the island of Tabarca. We caught the ferry from Santa Pola which only took about 40 minutes. The island is really quaint and the sea there is just beautiful! It's so clear, it really is a divers paradise! Join us now for a look around this island and let us know what you think. Nicely narrated Helen, you are a great double act and also a family one as well in the traditional sense of Spanish life and culture, Brits can learn a lot. In February when we were last in Torrevieja, we thought the limited sailing times might be an issue but we are still planning a trip soon.

Definitely getting the boat from Santa Pola next time I go...much cheaper! I love snorkelling so I loved it here, such a lovely little island. Really nice place to spend a few hours :) Great vlog guys!

@@britslivinginspain Thank you, and yes, it's very hot...much prefer it a little cooler myself but with current 'rules' etc, decided to make a run for it now before the drawbridge gets pulled up again! We're also going to pop into the Oasis over the weekend too as been hearing so much about it. Very much love your vlogging, and been flicking back and forward looking at your restaurant reviews now we're here at last...
