Shame it's turned into Walking Dead now, as I personally think X was much more exciting and unique. I feel like Thorpe's got enough horror-themed attractions already.

It was a lot more than a childrens funfair. It had a funfair type area with small kiddie rides which you see a bit of in this video, but it was a really great family park. Easy to spend a whole day there with the trip out to the farm as well, lots of water attractions and stuff to do around the lakes. It was exciting when it started to add big thrill rides too like Colossus and Nemesis Inferno, had a great balance of both then.

This takes me back. Used to go there every year when I was a kid. Logger's Leap WAS the ultimate water ride. . . until Tidal Wave came along. Plus I had to laugh when they said X No Way Out is the park's scariest rollercoaster even though back then everyone used to think it really was scary. Plus does anyone remember Pirate's 4D?

I miss X:/ No Way Out... Why? Because going backwards in the dark is spectacularly brilliant. They should bring it back during Fright Nights. (Yeah, Yeah. Fright Nights is far off and X:/ No Way Out Isn't part of lionsgate, it's just a brilliant idea for a Fright Nights ride.) Anyone that agrees with me reply "Aye"!

When I was younger I saw them I was 6 at the time it was quite an adventure but now that some of these things have been removed and the farm closed down due to foot and mouth I always stepped into that farm land but now the train just goes around and back again.

This video shows how much of a lovely park thorpe park used to be. I'm not sure whether I'm glad they moved on from this to be honest. It would have been a lovely park to stroll around and maybe visit if you are in the area. Here's what I think they should have done from here. 1998- add a couple more flat rides, get rid of the creepy characters and the weird cat show, upgrade the diving venue and the show with extra effects. 1999 2000 install Tidal wave exactly the same 2001 add a bigger pirate ship 2002 add colossus- this would be a great fit to this park, as it would add extra thrill. 2003 add nemesis inferno, except make it work it's way around the boat ride, instead of destroying the boat ride. 2004 add an intamin drop tower 2005 add a gci wooden coaster to Canada creek where Saw the ride is now, keep it family oriented. By now the park has an all American theme, with Canada and amity cove, as well as a south American rainforest. Rename the park Thorpe park America 2006- sorry stealth. Keep flying fish where it is but retheme it to like a cowboy chase 2007- add an intamin accelerator coaster that interacts with ff. Similar to Rita, but very tall. Extends into where Angry birds land is now. 2008 add family attractions, keep the families coming back 2009 DO NOT ADD SAW THE RIDE. it's a good ride, bit it kinda ruined the park. Instead, keep investing and add an intamin family launch coaster next to the GCI wooden coaster in Canada Creek that extends onto the lake 2010 2011 2012. This is a hard one. I say add the swarm but with a more family friendly theme. Same ride, different theme 2013. add a kiddie coaster on amity beach, and refurbish amity beach (it's not looking great) 2014. Keep the countries going and theme the Island next to the Swarm to machu piccu, make restaurants there and stuff,along with some well themed family attractions 2015 go round the park theming everything up, putting signs to separate the areas up 2016 add a mack megacoaster to machu piccu. the park would be so much nicer in my opinion if this had happened, it's a shame it went the way it did. Don't get me wrong, I love thorpe park, I just realised ,after watching this, how much potential there was for this park. It would have been recognised as one of the best parks in the world if this had happened. I am Sad now.

Fluffy Doges I prevented the opening of Saw and Stealth but made stealth better and saw be an intamin family launch coaster. When I left gaps and things the rides would still go in but I only listed major changes and rides to go in. All the flats, the 4D cinema and the dark rides/mazes would go in as well I just didn't list them

Wicked witches hunt the ride I went on in 1999 8 years old until a half wit did not put out his cigaret and caused a fire not only destroying this ride but taking down mr rabbits boat journey ride and a food restaurant in 2000 the evening day after my 9th birthday what a disaster this both rides gone to scrap metal and timber.
