My mom is Vietnamese and grew up not too far from Ho Chi Minh. She actually lived and worked there a bit when she was in her late teens and early 20s. She met my dad there, who was in the Air Force. It was around the time of the Vietnam War. They then had my sister and a few years later had my brother. Then after the fall of Saigon, they came to America where me and my other sister were born. I still have lots of family there in Vietnam. Mostly cousins.

i think it is clear that he said he had visited saigon a few years back probably they have visited the tourist spots back then, also since their point of going to vietnam is to shop and eat and they have like a day of trip that is there priority. We don’t have the right to dictate them on how they should spend their every trips. Let us spread positive vibes just like what Mikey is doing!

@ First, there maybe places that they haven’t visited before or have not seen for a long time. Second, who said I was dictating anything? I’m just asking what is more important? Because in my case, I believe that going to tourist spots will give you memory rather than a full tummy or a clothing to wear. I do balance these things, but memory is very important.
