Maserati sure makes a fine V8 - I live near a dealership and I can always tell when one is approaching - it's raw and meaty and brutal, yet refined. Just beautiful. Great video, Marco!!

The gran cabrio have a beautiful elegant design. Sound of the engine is really music i drove this car for 1 year and i can say is a car for all moments and days also for go to work is not a pure supercar but is better than a M5 i drove also the M4 but this is beautiful car.

i personally just got the maserati ghbili several weeks ago and i fell in love with maserati so fast and a great car. Even for the price of 80k i think it was 100% worth it cause of the fun and joy it brings me and my family.

@Marchettino, you should spend a day with the Granturismo SPORT (CambioCorsa gearbox version, not Automatic Gearboxed one) and then another with the MC Stradale and let us know what you think. Three very different cars...

The Maserati sequential gearbox is much better and more fun. I own a GranCabrio MC, and I find two things that are way off. 1 It is way too harsh in the setup for a heavy drop top GT, and 2 The gearbox is just way too slow.

I had a coupé and I know what you're talking about! I'd say the 991 is the perfect union between comfort, daily usability and performance. The California is more exciting and the Grancabrio is the best sounding one. If I had to choose I'd go for the California

I am just simply jealous for u....when I will have the option again to buy a new car, I would opt for a 10yr old family car for 3500 Euros and for the remaining 54000 I would get this one or an F355! Searching the ads I was shocked to see the Levantes with diesel engine...what a joke. These cars are made to enjoy the music as you well said. The music of the engine. First thing I would do is to throw out the radio, no need to have a radio if your car makes this music.

I had a California 30 and I now have a stradale Maserati. For sheer straight line speed the Ferrari wins, but for driveability, poise, looks, practicality (you can fly with 4 big adults in this baby), soundtrack, and high speed confidence (the Ferrari is light on the nose and skittish), the Maserati wins on every point. And yes it turns probably more heads because it's so loud and much rarer!!!

@@jeremycoombes4507 It really depends on what you want. I'm putting my GranCabrio up for sale after two years now. I simply cannot agree with the suspension. It's not a sportscar, it's a GT. I thought it was an alternative to a Cali T, but it wasn't. Porto ordered and on its way. Unless you need the rear seats, I see no point in the GranCabrio over even a Cali 30. I actually think the Cali 30 rides softer, and it most definitely handles better. The Maser is great in many ways and pretty engaging to drive for what it is, but it is no Ferrari. Would I take a regular old Cali over it? No. That thing is just too bad riding and slow for what it is supposed to be. If one wants a GranCabrio, it should be the S version with the same 460 PS engine. Much better ride in a car that is a GT after all.
