Investment porfolio - what you put your money on to gain more ie. bonds, stocks etc means and Insurance is covering yourself from any loss, damage or accidents etc.

So many people have a perception problem with insurance companies: they are more than hapy to take your money but are loath to actually pay out. This is why you talk with the insurance agent, find out about them and the products before signing on the dotted line. We can often find a little money to pay each month for cover and when it comes down to it it is far, far better to pay for it and not need it that to not have the cover when you really need it.
