3:51 -- The purpose of the "weird-looking" Bh7+ is that Tal has nowhere else useful to put it (aside from d1, where it is basically undeveloped once again). 4:01 -- It's a mystery why Tal didn't play the obviously far superior a3, since the b4 knight has nowhere to retreat. (I can only assume that he thought his opponent might not play g6 if no a3, and Tal briefly fancied keeping his bishop.) 5:31 -- Even though Tal has traded his bishop for all three of his opponent's kingside pawns, the game is actually drawish to behind for him after that (whereas he was dominating after a3).

@jaipatel65694 жыл бұрын
if white plays Ng5 then black can just play Rcg8, pinning the Knight, and there's no way to defend it I don't think, so then not only can black just win the white knight, but also doesn't even have to worry about Nxh3. I think that answers your question, and I think i'm right but feel free to refute it; i may have easily miscalculated haha (also sorry it took you 10 months to even get a response to this- i hope this puts this undoubted mental torment of yours to rest ;))
