That is one of your best videos ever. A lot of guys don't want to tell you where they fish, how they fish, or what the do to catch fish. I would rather show someone how to do fish a spot and see them enjoy the day better than catching them myself. I really don't even like to fish by myself. You have a great channel and I enjoy watching.

Man that was an awesome video. O love catching the largemouth bass. I actually went to my favorite honey hole on lake hartwell here in south carolina and scuba dived the whole area so i could see whatvstructure there was in the cove with a small creek that runs into it and man i know where the stumps the rocks and the sand bars are and where the big uns are. Ive cauvht 10 and 12 pounders out there and a couple bigger than that . And man you got me wanting to go wet a hook right now. I just love your demeanor people like you are an honor to meet. Keep them videos coming i reall enjoyed this one. God bless. And yeah ive heard that about the owls which they have bad omens at night to if it flies directly over you and if it has something invits talons,not good. Its indian beliefs but they me a n something to me.

Awesome Video A Couple Questions for Shad You need a Round Tank and Aeration to keep them alive?
@RockyDrakeOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Thanks I appreciate it To keep shad alive for a period of time Yes it makes a big difference. If the bait tank is not rounded the shad will gather up in a corner and die. They need to be able to swim in a circular motion and keep water running though there gills. They also need be aerated. You really need a bait tank that filter’s the water also. Shad can be hard to keep alive for very long. Thanks for your comment 🎣🎣

Great video Rocky. I have been using gizzard shad for forty years as a guide on the upper Mississippi River. I have had customers limit out on 4 lb bass after ten bass boats using artificial baits fished the same structure prior to my customers catching them with shad. Those bass can be conditioned to artificial lures but never to the real thing. Lol

Rocky, very kind of you to help Robin catch a fish. I know you have a lot of videos. I have seen Richard, (sometimes with Lisa), catch Crappie right about in the same location at night. Are these minnows too large for the Crappie, or are the Crappie really only there in the evening?

You got the wrong rod for that reel. First "big eyelet" isn't big enough for the reel. Hinders line spool out. #2 draw a line from middle of reel spool to first eyelet. Yours is WAY OFF. Proper reel/rod fit should be lined up & parallel to the rod. Fix this & cast 2-4X better further
