I looked up plot summaries because the Yan stories were really difficult for me to get into, I never skipped Arknights stories before so I felt bad about missing what was clearly a story arc with big plot potential(Sui). Your recaps are exactly what I needed and this came out unexpectedly quick

Tbh, chongyue story is extremely boring compared to dusk and ling story, even nian movie is much more interesting than changyue story. The story basically chongyue put all of his sui power into a sword and choosing one that will keep it safe, then Ya (a feranmut and sui rival) made a chaos by bringing off brand reunion. Then jieyun stole the sword making another cat and mouse chase like ling cup. After all that chongyue gave the sword to waaifu's dad and he goes to rhodes island.

I found Invitation to Wine to be far too complicated compared to Chongyue. I was at least able to roughly understand one of the main themes of Vernal Wind compared to Invitation where I was just completely lost

She spent like 10 years of her life training and plotting to kill Chongyue even after she realized he was basically a god She gave up though not for an inability to defeat Chongyue but because vengeance is kinda stupid, actually

Isn't it just me or isn't Viginite stage usually quite misleading. Like this event where the story take place in Yan but there is a Londonium stage and two Ursus stages, one of which you face the Emperor's Blade himself.

well, that "whole village" word from others sometimes doesn't mean "your village", especially in those Old Days in South China villages ....... simply if you don't have the same name as others you will never be counted in the villager group, in this situation they may will *ask* you to provide whatever they want as you are the guest-like something, even if you have the same name as others there still have the inner same-name group and outer same-name group..... you can always compromise with them just like kiddo's father, but they just won't stop taking more, in mandarin we call this "吃绝户" which means squeeze every last drop even after you die (also, murder can be a way to 吃绝户, like those villagers tries to kill kiddo to avoid trouble) those shit is lesser now after the year 2010 because of urbanization, but may still exist in some low-developed old villages today
