Congratulations on your ten year anniversary. Always love steam locomotives 🚂 because of all the working parts. Nothing better than to ride on them. Please keep up the great videos.

I just realized that had it not been for the crisis situation, I probably would have been at Dollywood yesterday too. Whatever way, we'll get through this and be back to the places we love soon enough.

Yep, we all just gotta sit tight. I just hope there isn't a second wave in the fall, losing the revenue from the fall color & Christmas trains could kill some smaller railroads.
@radforddivisionrailfan4 жыл бұрын
I hope we don't see that either. Some places are already gonna be struggling after having to cancel their Thomas events.

Not a great start to the 20s but there'll be great things to come in this decade. Great footage!

Yep, lots to look forward to as soon as this passes. Personally I'm most excited for 576, 2716, and the reopening of the EBT. Hopefully they won't be delayed too much.

154 had #12’s Whistle

If I remember right it was actually 192's whistle, I don't think 12's whistle has traveled anywhere but I could be wrong.

15:10 that is Roger. E. Broggie and a narrow gauge train came from Mexico brought by Walt Disney himself.
@SmokyMtnSteam4 жыл бұрын
Walt had already died when the locomotives were brought from the Yucatan, the project was overseen by Roger Broggie which is why he has a loco named after him.
@BeyondJackieP4 жыл бұрын
SmokyMtnSteam I meant to say that the Walt Disney company brought the trains.

Denton Farmpark in Denton, North Carolina. They can be seen operating at the annual Threshers' Reunion alongside lots of other cool steam, diesel, gas, and even horse-powered machines.

So weird that Southern 154 was built. in 1890 and is still running in 2019.

Some very fine video of some really beautiful looking & sounding old trains. High quality, mostly stable, good camera work - over all a very fine presentation. But you did NOT film it. You recorded it, lensed it, videoed it - Pick the phrase you like. But there is not one frame of film! I know. I worked in Broadcast TV when we actually DID use film. There are no film artifacts. No gate weave, no grain, no hair/fuzz/dirt. Film, at this length. would even have cue dots at :10 & :01 before the reel changes (which I always saw). I know everybody says it. Doesn’t make it correct. But very good video work - thanks!
