Crunchyroll nowadays is literally mostly the old staff of now defunked Funimation. It was social media like unlike July 2024 now they removed the comment section it seems.

I have 3 seasons on Full Metal Panic on bluray because Crunchyroll only has those season english subbed. For some reason only Sao's seasons 1, 2 are subbed only and the Ordinal Scale film, 2 progressive films and the 3rd season are in sub and dub on CR that's why i have the dvds os seasons 1,2 and 3 at home. As for FMA it only has the conqueror of shamballa movie No Brotherhood (2009-10) 64 episodes, No Sacred Star of Milos movie, No OVAs and No 2003's 51 episodes.

That's fair. I've been trying to collect my favorite series on bluray/dvd as well! At least where I can, Osomatsu only got a physical release in the US for the first two seasons. It's so annoying though when a series is split up across multiple platforms, which is what I'm assuming is what happened with FMA. I'm pretty sure netflix still has Brotherhood? But I haven't checked in a while.

Crunchyroll is a terrible place. But at least they stopped the spammy comment section for episodes on their site/app. Had enough of people saying "First!" To spamming every episode for likes

I mean, I'll never complain about something I enjoy being more accessible. But yeah, it's not the best platform, and no longer the company that was praised a decade ago.

HIDIVE does still exist! I know they had the streaming rights to Ohsi No Ko, which was pretty huge. I don't think AI is the answer, because AI will also carry those same racist biases if it's trained from works that contain those biases. It's a huge problem with AI use in job searching. I agree Crunchyroll should fire the racist employees, and hire better ones.

Many episodes for anime on their sites especially goofing with the English subtitles like no subtitles at all to sub sync issues *cough* Ouran High School Host Club in original Japanese **cough** Also I hate some of their series/movies are removed to readded over and over again like temp Netflix shows. I HATE they removed the J-K dramas only section years ago!!
