They also brought in #1 Juco player last year via 24/7 sports, Chris Marshall

Maddox is good enough and proven enough to get them to 9-3 if the passing game and pass defense (2 parts that kept the team from being dominate last year) are improved. This team has enough balance and proper pieces in place to really make some noise if Nelson is ready to go fairly early in the season with a higher level of QB play that many think he is capable of.

Madsen isn’t really good he’s mid at best

100% agree with your assessment on Jeanty. He is the best back in CFB and will transfer his skills and abilities nicely in the NFL.

Overall best review I’ve come across yet for Boise State. Lot of things you didn’t mention like coaching changes (NFL head coach out of retirement as OC, Penn St special teams coach coming back), and all American caliber type kicker and punter. Teams also seems more mentally dialed in (from what is portrayed in media) with new coaches than last year when they went to Washington and were up after the first quarter. Granted, they did get blown out and by no means do I say they will beat Oregon, but Boise could easily be their sleeper. I’ll be curious to see how they do against Georgia southern to know what expectations to have going forward. Probably the most excited I’ve been for a season since the Kellen Moore days of 2010s. Go Broncos!

Ore is a 50/50, depends who shows up sharp and who makes the least or prevents capitalization of mistakes. The rest of the MW (and OOC team) teams is a 60/40 in favor of BSU, the OSU/WSU are 55/45 BSU favor. since they play in Boise. 11-1 to 9-3 12-0 is a 1 in 10 probability.

I forgot to add caveats for injuries. Jeanty gets hurt might add 1-2 losses. I look at BSU with Jeanty healthy 'adds' dimension

Good video you didn't feature Special Teams. Jonah Dalmas voted Team Captain by players and James Ferguson Reynolds.

Why do you think the Oregon game is an automatic loss 🤔

Because Boise State got destroyed by a playoff team last year and Oregon is a playoff team this year

I agree Oregon will beat us good and could be a blow out by more than 3 touchdowns. Boise State has potential to go 11-1, but that would be tough. Always easy to just not come out ready to go for every game. Momentum shifts occur with turnovers, so let’s hope we can keep those to a minimum. I think it’s like 75% of the time the team that wins the turnover battle wins the game. Ball security will be a big part of our success this year. Go Broncos!!

Boise State has a way better team this year

@JoeBroback Boise State ain't the same team from last year. And understand this point nobody is making but I will state it now. Oregon right now is nothing close to the Washington team Boise State faced last season. If that same Washington team was here now to play Oregon as they are now. Washington would fcking destroy Oregon. That's a fact. Now this fact is something to consider when you evaluate the game. I don't deny Oregon most likely wins. But. Boise is capable of surprising Oregon in this game. At the very least I say the game will be closer than most people expect it to be.
