Good show! I always liked the Skipper dolls! The 60's & early 70's I think we're the best for the entire Barbie dolls including Ken & Brad!!! About the hair, I recently came across a pretty 90's Barbie with crystal earnings her hair, though, was a gnarly mess! I managed to gently brush through the tangles, then washed & conditioned her hair then wrapped her in a small towel to dry. When she dried there was a fabulous transformation in the texture. Amazing, maybe this gentle treatment might work for your older Skippers??? Eh? Thanks for your interesting displays!!! 😊🎉🎉🎉

Thanks a lot for the this little journey through Skipper's hsitory. I do not have a that many Skipper dolls in my collection however the recent Silktone reproduction was one I coul not pass on.

Omg as a skipper collector I found this video amazing. Thank you for giving her a dedicated video. I personally only collect the Big Eye version (88-95) since those are the ones I grew up with but I do really like some of the older ones as well. As a little sister I've always connected more with Skipper than barbie. When we would play as kids my sister would be Barbie, and I was always Skipper. If child me could see the collection i have now she would be mind blown.❤

Hi Ian, I also replaced headbands on a few of my Skippers with fabric that looked identical to what you used but the ribbon had wire in it which unfortunately turned 4 of my Skippers green on the back of the head and tips of the ears. Please check your ribbons to make sure they have no wires.
