1:10 I know it seems silly, but no, the dog isn’t really saying these things, but Heidi is basically translating the dog’s body language. It sounds silly, but if you understand animal behavior it can somewhat be translated. When a dog turns its back to you and lies down (usually with their bum facing you) it means they’re being submissive and wish to be left alone. So yes, what she’s saying is right, it just sounds silly to translate to other people because they haven’t studied animal behavior. Another thing I’d like to mention is when the dog shook herself. Sometimes dogs tend to do this to relieve stress, so it’s a great sign. Great job to Heidi. It’s a good idea to, if your dog doesn’t know you’re approaching, to call their name gently first so they know you’re coming before you pet them. It’s more calming for them. Anyway, great job Heidi!

This happened to my dog 'mikai'. I was wondering why is she always sitting at the corner of the room and whenever I call her she wouldn't react, not like she used to before. She's not with us, she died at April 4. My mom got depressed and is looking at the ads for a dog to adopt, and call her by the name 'mikai'. :'(

I lost my dog earlier this year too. He wasn't old, but grew very ill due to an autoimmune disorder. In the last few days, when he had the strength to he'd slink off into an empty room, and lie down. It's part of the dying process, and I believe it may bring them some comfort.

Sometimes dogs and other animals can feel the same as humans. They cry when they're sad. They will hop around and play with others because they're happy! Or they will back up and attack someone when they're aggressive and mad at something. Dogs and other animals are just like HUMANS. Treat them like you wanted to be treated, feed them, give them space, give them some privacy, play with them, talk with them, but most importantly..LOVE THEM! 💖

It's not obvious, in this case the dog didn't want to be a burden and wanted to die just like people with depression. Now he knows that they want him to stay and that he's not a burden but joy for them. I know a dog who didn't wanted to live because he was separated from his brother, the owner had no idea that he has a brother until the interpreter told him. So people like that lady are truly needed. Every case is different, you never know what's in the dog's mind.

@@oliroblox4168 Así como hay personas que entrenan perros , hay otras como ésta señora que ayuda a los dueños del pobre perro que está deprimido .La señora tiene la capacidad de mantener una comunicación con el perro mentalmente , ella le lee el pensamiento y también le responde al perro lo que dice la familia .Se que usan a estas personas para sanar más rápido a los caballos finos , hacen que ellos se acerquen al animal y les transmiten que órganos tienen enfermos y así es más rápido el tratamiento y no gastan tanto , van directo al problema .gracias por tus palabras.

Todo bien pero yo no creo en eso, yo creo que ellas nisiquiera acariciaban al perro, lo veían desde la puerta, además cuando los perritos están viejitos y ciego como este según parace por su ojito pues duermen todo el día, yo tuve una perrita por 16 años y en su último año ella dormía todo el día, prácticamente comía muy poco y solo quería dormir.
