@emmmmmmmm40864 жыл бұрын
I think this recent obsession with avoiding fragrance (while sometimes a bit overkill) has actually led to a lot of great products being created for people who *do* have sensitivities to fragrance. Companies like Krave Beauty popping up have been amazing for people with fragrance allergies (like myself), because 5-10 years ago my options were extremely limited. So while I do think people can be a bit dramatic when it comes to products with fragrance, at the end of the day I really appreciate being seen and having more options 🙂

I think I get that tho. They STRONGLY do not recommend fragrances because they don't want people coming in with allergies developed from fragrance. Shereene does not really care about it on her routine since she knows how she can treat it should it ever occur

I’m actually kinda glad there’s so much demand for fragrance free products. As someone with very very very verrrryyyyyyyy sensitive skin, I gotta say I like having options 😂

@@lilit9186 I believe having such a playful and laissez-faire personality also plays a role. I am pleased to see she uses normal products and is not afraid of fragrance. I wish I could look like that at 38, not that 38 is old, but her skin looks like she is in her mid 20s.

I did experiment with salicylic acid 1% + glycolic acid 2% facewash, vitamin c + niacinamide serum, 2% granactive retinoid together on my face and it didn't irritate at all, i did it for like a week, is it still alright to use them together? (I do use rosewater after cleansing and a moisturiser after retinoid) i have brown and combination skin.

My grandmother is 87 and barely even has wrinkles on her face. Has never put anything on her skin at all aside from lotion 😂 She is also one of the most positive, greatful people I have ever met, and handles stress incredibly well. I imagine this makes a huge difference on skin. Something to think about 🤷

It’s more to do with what they ate! Grew their own pesticide free veg, ate hormone free poultry , only ate home cooked meals etc

@@bubbles7956 That is definitely a factor as well but stress is a huge factor in aging and my grandmother dealt with stress better than anyone I have ever met.

I'd like to know dematoligists opinion on old fashioned cold cream like ponds. I use that to remove make-up and especially waterproof mascara and find it works like a dream. I just cleanse afterwards. I find it works really well especially because it's very gentle around the eyes and so I don't have to rub at my eyes. I wash one eye at a time so I can watch what I'm doing with the other.
