Christ Nerb that was tense! I think I was more nervous watching it than you were riding it - you were still laughing even at the most tense of moments! Thanks for the series - I have really enjoyed it and have looked forward to each new chapter. Great editing job - thanks again for the entertainment!

Well Brenden, you have done it again, I'm sorry this is the last episode. I find that hard to call that a track and when you dropped the Kato off the edge, your lucky Craig's a big fellow to help get it back up. Well done to all 3 of you.

Yes, I would have struggled to get it out of there if I was by myself! Glad you enjoyed the series.

Hey Nerb's Love the stuff you and Shadower are doing.. Mate, I am the guy in our group that does all the planning and navigation. Do you ever post you track logs any where? This would save heaps of time.. I have done some awesome trips that has taken me a truck load of hours to plan, and thought a store for these tracklogs would be great way to give back to the Adventure Bike community...
@Nerb13 жыл бұрын
I havnt posted them and most trips I dont even have a gps log. We tend to have an idea of where we want to go and then we just ride. I have used a lot of paper maps in the past. I think I have our cape York trip gps file. I wouldnt hand out the Googs track trip as it was a lot of private property. This is pretty much how I plan a trip: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWTQq2tued2Fiqc As you may know... that trip didnt go as planned at all ;)

That track must have been some of the craziest riding around, I don't think I have seen you have so much trouble (and you still make it look easy) in any of your vids....... I was thinking that would be fun, but that would be more like hell on earth for me lol The main roads are more my style :-) Great bloody series mate!

With what you do on that bike ,KTM should supply you a new one every couple of years just for the publicity you give them. Amazing riding on a bike that size!

Do you mean a rim lock? No, I dont have them.
@darrenwalliss99406 жыл бұрын
Hay Nerb, what tyre pressures were you running, particularly in the ugly sand bits. Also, how did all you guys fuel consumption compare?
@Nerb15 жыл бұрын
Hey Darren, I just rewatched the video and noticed that I missed your question. In the sand, I aired down to 18/20 psi. Fuel consumption was as expected with the 250 the lowest, 690 in the middle and the 1190 using the most. I have forgotten the exact figures, but the 1190 does not quite use double the 250.
@darrenwalliss99405 жыл бұрын
Got any wisdom to impart about tyres - got a favourite brand etc. ?
@TheHornetRider16 жыл бұрын
Track? Ha! Were you navigating again or do we blame Shadower this time?
@SkozzaAU5 жыл бұрын
so, i finally did it nerbsan, i bought a motorbike. nothing fancy, just an old KLR250, so glad i didnt jump straight back onto a bigger bike after all these years.. work out just keeping the little 250 upright, especially in the thick soft sand. i so need to build my fitness and strength back up before getting a bigger touring adventure bike. phew.
@Nerb15 жыл бұрын
Awesome. Nothing wrong with the KLR250! Now get some footage of the struggles to show us!

@@Nerb1 ha maybe bit later when i get back into the swing of it, not as young and fit as i used to be, defo dont ride anywhere near as hard as i used too but so looking forward to building up to that level of capability up again.

Awesome videos Nerb, What sorts of the map are you running in your phone mate?
@Nerb16 жыл бұрын
I was using the earthmate app that comes with my Inreach when we were out of phone reception areas. It just uses open street map and the digital earth atlas I believe. Shadower75 was using Hema, which was much more accurate.
