That was a great tutorial on correcting paint. Easy to understand and great information. I learned a few new tips that were very helpful. I really like the tip about doing a post polishing inspection and then marking areas you want to go back to with a little piece of masking tape. That's a great idea. Now I'm more confident with my DA to compound my newly painted bumper sill and not be too aggressive. I did my own body work and rattle can base coat and clear coat. All done outdoors under my carport on my car, which is Platinum Graphite Metallic dark gray. The sill looks great now but I know a light wet sanding and light compound will make it look better. Your video really helps. I did my rear quarter panel last fall and it just does not look glossy. After watching you I now realize I can do a little more easily and make it shine. Thanks for great videos on KZbin. I'm a subscriber to your channel. Also born near Chicago at Great Lakes Naval hospital. Live in Sealy Texas now. So I have to be careful with weather and wind working outdoors on my car under a carport.

Awesome video! You are teaching in a calm, thorough, and thoughtful way. This lesson helped me a lot. I'm just a hobby detailer and really enjoy doing it. I have three vehicles to detail. One is red German SUV, one is a silver German luxury car, and the last is a dark grey Japanese pick up. The German cars do have hard paint and the Japanese is more soft. I usually spend around ten hours per vehicle to detail. I mostly use Chemical Guys and Meguiars products because they seem to work great. Keep on making these videos.
