stupid garage queen shame on the owner. I mean ok if you say "I want to preserve it" you could still say "only 2000miles per year" or sth like that, but 500miles is just an insult to this car. at least USE it A BIT, and dont KILL it in a garage (plus its not even good for a car when its NEVER driven)

@John Nicholas Good estimate. I mean 130 hours, probably around 60 to 80 dollars (If not more) an hour given that it's two guys. So 8 to 10 grand is a conservative estimate. Given that it's a ~200k car, it seems pretty alright. Especially if you protect it properly afterwards since it's (unfortunately) not really a daily or even a weekend car at that point anymore and more a rolling investment.

@BuckMcAntlerson
@BuckMcAntlerson 5 жыл бұрын
I absolutely buy it's 500 miles. The really rare and expensive ones are hard to get on allocation from dealers so once someone gets one it often becomes a garage queen. Don't get me wrong, 500 is an incredibly low number but it's not unheard of for a 10 year old car to only have a few thousand miles on it.
@R2D2trashcan
@R2D2trashcan 5 жыл бұрын
@@BuckMcAntlerson the point we are making is not that it is impossible for a car of that age to have such low miles, the point is that the condition of the car suggests it has done more miles and has spent more time outside than the miles would suggest. Someone who keeps a car at 500 miles doesn't leave it outside and if that's the case how did the under body get so completely filthy? its not a 500 mile car and the below post confirms it.

You guys just blow me away with your expertise and minute attention to detail. I started watching these videos about ceramic coating and color correction when I decided I wanted my 17 Mustang GT done. I have learned so much from your videos. I may look into shipping my car up and have your shop do it. Not sure what you charge. But you guys are phenomenal. If you ever work apprenticeships please let me know I would be first in line to learn from the BEST in the business!

As beautiful as the car is, one drive on a wet road and all that hard work is undone. It probably took less time to build it in the factory than give it the most intense detail I’ve ever seen. Nice work.

I could stand 130 hrs straight watching these guys do this to my two year old sedan! literally puts back the black in black - even better than the stock "mid night black" from the company! its sucks if you can't wash the car a single day, if you do happen to go out without a wash it literally looks like you've just driven through a paddy field fighting the mud.
