A Determined Stand

Austin Justin is five-years-old and learning to walk for the first time in his life. He was born with hereditary hip dysplasia and club feet. Austin recently received a pair of braces from Shriners Hospitals for Children in Portland. In time, the braces will allow him to walk upright. A Winterhawks hockey fan, Austin hopes to one day be able to play hockey on upright ice skates with a team.

I had an RGO when I was younger and it work so fine when you can bend your knees so you don’t have to balance yourself from side to side like a pendula .
