SO AWESOME!!! As a nurse who works just down the street from you, I'm deeply moved by your commitment to the common good! We see a lot of people who are literally choosing between medication and food. It's absolutely unacceptable! I think as health care providers and as individuals, wherever we can carve out a little area where people can find mercy - a reprieve from the merciless system we live in - that should be our goal. Because in accomplishing that goal, we find the true meaning of justice. It's worth fighting and sacrificing for! I'm so glad you're doing what you're doing! I'll have to come down and say hi sometime!
