Alaska Prepper has done several videos reviewing reverse osmosis systems. He's a big proponent of them. He recently reviewed a portable unit.

Excellent idea here. I would think a distiller would be helpful. I also wonder what there is out there for reverse osmosis that might be smaller instead of a big system.. The water might not be good for drinking, but for toilet flushing and washing clothes, it might be fine. btw, your sound was terrible. Some kind of annoying background noise on your video.

All good points, also gardening could be viable in my situation at least the nitrates could help plants. Sorry about the noise I had a portable AC running it’s been hot! I normally turn it off when recording

I’m going off the average a person actually consumes a year, a grown adult man should consume slightly less an a gallon a day. That also depends on activity level as well, and salt intake. We don’t drink nearly as much water as we should, the average shocked me I had to double check several sources

@@RagnarokReadyas a child, I had an uncle who drank probably 2 gallons of water a day. He ended up in the hospital bc he was depleted of minerals. His doctor told him to cut down on his water intake.

Sorry to hear about that, it depends on activity level for most grown men it’s just below 1 gallon a day. We can certainly live off of less, most people probably consume half a gallon a day, also key to have proper minerals in the water as well. Thank you for your comment
