Very good discussion on the current topic. It is a fact that the policy makers don't have the ability to bost IT sector to yield revenue to meet budgetary shortfalls. There should be IT experts in the concerned ministry/ department to deal with IT industrial sector.

Unfortunately, we have an IT minister whose qualifications are graduation from LUMS and post-graduation in political science from the UK whereas we see the qualifications of IT ministers of Bangladesh and India on Google, they are Phd in their profession. Similarly, you see a retired Lt general or Maj general in the top position of any government department who doesn't have specific qualifications and experience.
