Chase utz biggest mistake I made was going over there that day she brought him home I normally would not do so that young they don’t know who is their owner yet but I am just a sucker for puppies in general so I did she asked me what should I name him instinctively I said Sundance that was a big mistake number 2 Her husband wanted Rexy so his name is rexy one bullet dogged but I got attached to rexy quickly I left come back next Saturday go to see my new friend and Shri was telling me how he’s settling in she says great except I can’t get him to walk down the steps to go to the bathroom he only goes business on the deck! So I played with him for a bit then had to go do landscaping with my friend who lives across from rexy and Shri

I needed this. I just put my cat down today. He saved me when I was broken from so many miscarriages and sadness. He was an old, black cat that no one else wanted and it was exactly like this. Last year, my dog had sadly passed away. It was a hard decision that I had to make. Unfortunately, he had cancer and the veterinarians said that there was no chance of saving him. They told me that I didn’t have to be in the same room when they put him to sleep, but I wanted him to know that he was not alone when it was over. Afterward, it was a very hard time for me. I felt alone and sad. However, until I saw this movie, I felt that maybe one day I’ll be able to meet with my old pal again. I don’t care how long, what kind of breed he is, just as long as I get to see him before I move on. This movie really touched me, and it truly showed how valuable a best friend can be; how unforgettable the memories of that friendship can be. A dog’s purpose.

I really love how ethan doesnt need anything more than that moment between them. Deep down he just knows it. @@chrisitl exactly tears of joy. those are the best so beautiful make feel all warm inside. i bawled along with my mom when meeting holding my nephew for first time just 2hrs after he was born. walk in before holding him see him and my sis and waterworks. legit so happy love at first sight there. he will be 2 in june. 2days after my bday. heck i even cried when my late dog well when i was 15 in 1997 my parents came home to surprise my sister and i and wow were we this lil ball of fluff so cute i started crying when i saw her so happy to get a puppy and how cute she was and soft.

@@jogman262 so sorry to hear about your dog and it don't matter how long ago that happened but they all know all pets. and you can just do as if you were praying.i do it still.esp when i am in a missing funk. i think i still when i am at my mom's sometimes i swear i hear my dog barking and it comforts me she has been gone 4 years in august and she was 2 weeks shy of her 18th birthday. in fact i was with my parents her last night which i cried my hardest most of. her last vet visit i have anxiety so i took a kpin to make sure i didn't freak but our dog deserved have her family by her side every step of way. so hard my mom had pull me away from my dog after the euthanasia injection kicked in. may sound morbid but a comfort to me and my parents we have an urn with Ginger's remains in which a slot where i put a pic of me holding her she was happy healthy not just in pic but that time. my sister supposedly couldn't handle being with her dog last moments so she never said goodbye i mean i hope she doesn't feel bad but she should have at least been at house night before like we all crying our eyes out my parents didn't care if i hyperventialted sorry spelling well broke down she could have not worried everyone was crying and taking turns holding her comforting her through pain and well my sister had her choice not say goodbye. you were not able to be there so a difference. they understand. im sure your parents must have been there with your dog for his last moments. so he wasn't alone they understand. my sis and i and our parents just lost few weeks ago our pet bird a small parrot named Peanut. we have some of his feathers to keep. i know he know how much i cared for and miss him he would been 25 in july. he fell and injured himself while i was still down in florida for visit with my dad which didn't go so well but at least i had a good friend whom more like family we known each other since childhood who live so close to where my dad is. she let me stay with her. i got call from my mom all worried and upset which had me worried and in tears. the next day was gonna get better because that was when i was going home. i had odd vibe that he wasn't going to be around long tried hold hope. i tell you i swear he sensed my concerns and waited til i got home before he got worse so i could see him and tell him how much i love him and hope he feel better. well 2 weeks from my return from florida he had to go to animal hospital and he not only had chewed off part of his foot but had broken bone in area not good on other leg. and had be sleep to have an xray. found he had 2 heart conditions apparently. and well at that point hearing he would most likely not heal his fracture right and be in pain not able move much my parents had to make euthanasia decision it was best for him, my mom almost lost it crying walking past waiting room after my sis and i were not there i had to babysit my nephew til my sis got home from work. my mom kept updating me on bird when we thought he was just going for basic exam. and ended up having to have my sis drive me home(i don't drive)as parents still at vet hospital. i really started have bad feeling it does hurt not being able to say goodbye to them but at least pet knows you love them that stay with them most important thing. he was under anesthetic so the choice had be made right then. sorry long story but yeah my parents couldn't even be in room. my mom texted me she on her way to me with updates and to tell me and she broke down with me in car i spent night at moms because i was to upset stick to myself. i mean i had a feeling just reading text it wasn't good. euthanasia is hard but an animal fur baby in pain suffering is even worse. i really think my bird wanted me home and safe all i could say when he left for his appt which was his last was good luck peanut hope u feel better. he gave me time to spend with him. i was 12 when we got the bird. i really hope to hear him screech he was quite loud at some point the sooner the better like i hear my dog every so often. a pet doesn't rely on words for to know their fam loves cares misses them it's in their care their actions snuggles hugs petting basic needs food and oh treats for good behavior. toys for them play with.that what our pets will remember of us and how we look of course. i feel we will all see our fur babies some day in prime happy condition. we can't help being sad and cry but i know our pets wouldn't want us to be sad to miss them yes.they want us to well be as happy as we can be given the circumstances they are happy they are in peace no suffering. pain for us never goes away we will always have our times when it is rough. don't beat yourself up though for not being able to say goodbye to him it happens yeah its not easy. this movie thought made me cry at parts was more heartwarming. another good dog movie have you seen Max? it came out in 2015 it's really not sad i only teared up lil bit at couple of parts but has happy end its real cute dog fam adventure film. i waited while to watch that because the trailer for it had me bawling and i was skeptical. if you haven't seen it please do not you would thank me. Marley and Me. ripped my heart out i still can't watch it so depressing. a dog's purpose was a lot lighter

When my dog died I used to Thinked him 'can he be alive' He was a shitzu 2 years later in our back yard there is a dog waiting someone special And it was me I was feeding him cause he is hungry When I realized that my shitzu can roll over he too And I hugged him and started crying with happiness 😩

i have seen a dog's journey 3 times 1st in theater. love it so. i cry every time but so sweet beautiful story with ending have me bawling because so bittersweet more sweet than bitter(sad) everytime i watch too sometimes i just watch the dog's journey ending scene on youtube that's out because such good ending.

Actually I had a labrador when I was just 6 yrs old he died when I was 18, After I graduated college my girlfriend adopted a husky pup the puppy would follow me almost everywhere and most likely come to me than my girlfriend but I thought he was just a weird dog but after I watched this movie I started feeling that my girlfriend's husky was a reincarnation of my labrador.

Man this movie and scene just hit me right in the feels. 2 years ago we put our dog down, he was the best dog i ever had. There will never be another dog that could ever be as amazing as him. he was so kind, and loving, and spastic with high energy. He did funny weird things, and just brought happiness in our home. We got him when i graduated highschool, and he helped me through some super tough times. Its movies like this, that i really thank and appreciate what my Buddy did for me and how he helped me through the hard times.

Just finished watching 2 mins ago. I just literally went here to say. How beautiful this movie is. It really made me cry. I look like a food here in my room shouting to Bailey go get that ball and show it to Ethan! I'm so happy Bailey went back to Ethan all the lives he went from being loved, abused, learning things. I'm thankful he went back. Im so crying right now 😭 I have 2 dogs here and I went to them and hugged them. ❤
