A devoted dog (Josh Gad) discovers the meaning of its own existence through the lives of the humans it teaches to laugh and love. Reincarnated as multiple canines over the course of five decades, the lovable pooch develops an unbreakable bond with a kindred spirit named Ethan (Bryce Gheisar). My human best friend of 25 years was killed one year ago and my little dog Cha Cha who I called my best little friend AKA The Goodest Boy were crazy in love with each other Johny helped raised Cha Cha in fact. When Johny died My goodest boy would sit at the top of the stairs for hours and hours every day and stare at the door waiting for Johny to come back, it was heartbreaking. Somedays I'd sit with him and pet him and love on him and I'd tell him over and and over... You'll see him again Cha Cha I promise you will baby, we both will , and we would both sit and stare at the door. Well a few months ago my boy died, he died exactly one year to the date that Johny died. To lose both of my best friends in one year on the exact same date was heart-wrenching, but if I had to give them up I'm glad I gave them to God because to me that is heartwarming... It's also bittersweet. I wasn't getting another dog, didn't want any more best friends I had closed my heart. and then last month I watched a Dogs Purpose and cried for days then I watched it again and again and again and I have come to the conclusion that the ocean gets water from the tears of best friends who are left behind to make new starts. But it opened my heart and this movie changed my life I went to the shelter and I adopted a little dog and his name is "BAILEY BAILEY BAILEY' I was going to name him Picasso and call him pickles but he wouldn't respond to it however each time I say Bailey Bailey Bailey he jumps up and down and about knocks me over he gets so excited Bailey Bailey Bailey has brought more healing into my life and into my home than I ever thought possible I am so thankful for this movie I guarantee I am not the only person whose life this movie has changed. Your Friend , DEE & BAILEY BAILEY BAILEY There's nothing in the world like unconditional love. Piece, healing, and much love to every heart this movie has touched and every tear we have shed. I didn't know about this movie. I sadly had a dog during a time in my life that I was really unable to care for properly. I did love that dog tho. I just was a hot mess. Fast forward sometime. I have some sober time these days and have changed things around. I purchase a dog about 7 months ago and immediately had this amazing bond with her. She's the best friend I ever had. I too missing my beloved dog browny. Waiting for her to come back to me. She didnt even gone calmly. That ticks and uterus infection both together killed her with much pain. I do not want to live without her. Only last july 6 2020 she left me. I am very much dead like person without seeing her. 10 years her voice, walk, beauty everything occupied my house but now i feel very lonely and vexed without her. To all dog lovers please check up every 2 or 3 months otherwise listen to your dogs what they trying to tell us in action. These will be helpful for your dogs to keep healthy. My dog always used to eat leaves and vomit. I thought it just digestion problem. She also tear clothes and scratch wall . These all pain indications. So immediately contact your vets. Since browny my first dog i didnt aware of these. Thats why i lost her eventhough she was in active mode.
