I visited nearby Wisley Common last year. It is plagued by the M25. I must have a look at these places too.Interesting about he sarachen stone. Maybe check out the stones at Brentwood Heath that I mentioned before. Wear thick trousers if you do go as there is sharp thorns there.,

In my experience energy or ley lines (i don't separate) deviate when they cross each other but continue straight until they do cross, so the line from West Byfleet and Wisley may be continuous but in the mean time has crossed several other lines. That stone outside Wisley is interesting and could indicate a pre-christian settlement, in which case I guess the church was dedicated to St Michael.

Some lovely churches - I thought that the church at Wisley might have been where my cousin was married but that’s at Pyford just down the road. What’s your plan with the energy currents? Are you going to try again or ask another dowser to try?

That’s fascinating. I know dowsing works as the water companies pay dowsers to find water sources but it is always dismissed by the media as’mumbo jumbo’ Interesting that there is the remains of a Sarson stone abutting the church. And I just about remember John Timpson from the radio early in the morning. You must delve into this puzzle!

Interesting. Why wouldn't you map the currents in the area? Also, the currents are how wide, what polarity? If you follow the alignment and energy currents, I bet they take you to some amazing places.... they do me over here.

I think trying to map Currents would be an almost impossible Job as it would be never ending 'Rabbit Holes'. As you say, it would lead to some amazing places I'm sure.

Just wondering how you get into dowsing in the first place - and where do you get dowsing rods? Are there different types and do you have to have a personal connection to them? Interesting video - hope you crack the mystery!

I got into Dowsing through a Book in the late 80's call THE SUN AND THE SERPENT and then through my many Visits to Avebury in Wilshire. I bought these Rods in The Henge Shop at Avebury in the mid 90's.

I can only comment on personal experiences but I find the intent to what you are Dowsing for is a vital part of the process.
