Buses in West Byfleet including rail replacement buses, December 2020 and January 2021. West Byfleet in Surrey has 3 regular bus routes but when South Western Railways have engineering works, rail replacement buses of all sorts call at the station.

The shopping centre in West Byfleet is being demolished soon, a new village centre will be built that will include about 200 flats on top of it, the office block is also going but there will be no new offices to replace it.

@@bobhodgestransportDVDs thank you for taking the time to reply .its a shame when good buildings go by the way side to bring in flats there doing it where i live now all office buildings are turned into flats .west byfleet will always be a place in my heart as i have good memories with my family there as we grew up . brantwood estate was where i grew up and back then was a brandnew estate back in the 70s my uncle still lives up there so still got ties to surrey .

The bus companies have all changed since I lived there. What happened to Country Liner?

Country Liner disappeared a long time ago into Arriva I think, since then National Express, Abellio and Arriva have all operated locally, but it seems that the big companies cannot make the routes around here viable so now the routes are operated by small companies such as Falcon Buses of Byfleet and White Bus who have a depot in Horsell.
