In my mind those 1980s cars like the F40, countach, deTomaso Pantera have this unique brutal wide and flat look, modern cars dont look that aggresive anymore. I would be satisfied with a white Ferrari Testarossa though :) There are actually tons of others cars that would be a dream to drive, not only the Testarossa, Countach or F40. Probably the Aston Martin DB5, Lancia Stratos, BMW M1, Ford GT40 and a bunch of modern cars as well. Even something like a DeLorean would be interesting

Actually, this and the CLK GTR are the two cars at the very top of my dream list. And perhaps a Ferrari 250 - any of them would do, not just the GTO. Thank you for sharing this with us Nico!

This car, iconic and my ultimate childhood favourite, is unbelievably beautiful, raw and the definition of a true super sports car. No power steering, braking or assisted clutch, let alone electronic assistants, just raw mechanics. I love it and would die for a drive in one

My hands were sweating and I wasn’t even driving! Bravo Nico! The F-40/50 are for sure on my bucket list. But #1 would be McLaren F1 on the Jebel Mountain highway. I love all these cars from that era, they are the true embodiment of driving. Pure, all you, unfiltered experience.

I worked for a billionaire guy that had an F40. I was working close to it when they started it up and remember it shaking the ground so badly that my eyeballs couldn't focus. Ever since then I wanted to drive an F40. Afraid this is probably as close as I'll get. Koenigsegg would also be a dream of mine.

A match made in Heaven! Nico drove it how it should be driven. Would love to see the 288 GTO next, the supercar of the 80’s itself!

Absolutely incredible as always, I was nervous seeing you reversing fast in a tight street with steel barriers, but yeah you're not a normal racing driver you are an F1 world champion who surely can handle road cars easily ❤

This is beautiful to watch Nico. My bucket list child hood dream was to drive a Porsche 987.1. After 15 years I finally got the opportunity to buy it a few weeks ago. And the glee you expressed getting into this F40 is exactly how I've felt every day since I brought it home. Enjoy life mate, only have one to live.

What a car... Rosberg has driven some of the most advanced racing cars in thew world, yet here he is as excited as anything about driving an F40... can't see him being that way with many other road cars. Love his reversing skills too.

Congrats Nico!! ❤️❤️ I admire you for being so true and not hiding your mistakes, and also being proud of achievements! I love you as my role model for success! Being so confident when asking for a f40 drive… ah I could go on and on ❤️❤️😀

My question is, how did you tell your neighbor about the rear-view mirror? Some behind the scenes would be cool to watch. Anyway it's very nice that you keep the parts where you make mistakes in the video. Makes it funnier! Nico I respect you as a driver, world champion and through KZbin got to know you better. Really like your videos and your work in various fields. I loved seeing you enjoying this Ferrari so much. As Seb says, everyone is a Ferrari fan, even if they don't say so! My bucket list drive is any Ferrari car. I love Ferrari, and my dream is to drive one. Or at least be a passenger in one, once in my life. Sometimes when I see a Ferrari parked I'm tempted to wait for the owner and beg for a lift just to experience it!

Closest I’ve been to an F40 was when they were new - one was being slightly modified and it was in the dyno. I even dig up my old VHS and posted it on KZbin 😂. Seriously thank you Nico for sharing this experience with us, it was awesome!! .

I had my bucket list drive a few years ago, driving the Ferrari Testarossa 😍 Cars from that era are hard to drive, you break a sweat easily 😅

RESPECT Nico, driving like you stole it on those tight roads. I had a drive in one of these many moons ago at Croft circuit when I had a 993 GT2 ( awesome ). Bucket list car is an original GT40 or a Can Am Mclaren.

The F40 still is a dream for me. Ever since i saw one as a kid (my only one in real life), that is the dream! If i could even get it for a photoshoot once, man, i would be very happy.

The car in my bucket list drive is the Ferrari Enzo. I still remember the 1st time I saw it on tv when I was a kid being driven by Jeremy Clarckson on Top Gear. I said to my self that car is beautiful, also it's the 1st car I've seen with paddle shifter and I think it's very cool during that time because most of the car in the early 2000's are still manual.

My all time most favorite car, the F40. I work in the automotive design studio industry, I get to see and create some of the newest cars out there, most go to the auto shows, some hit the streets, some never see the light of day, and this car stands above all of them. The closest I’ve come to the F40, was when I was living in Maranello, and a group of F40 rich guys drive their F40s down from Holland and Switzerland, some event was going on that weekend in Maranello, and the group of them drove by my apartment while I was bbq’ing on my balcony. What a sound!!!!! That was in 2013

My bucket list car is a Laferrari. When the car came out in 2013 I was in love, btw I was 8 at the time, it looked like nothing else I’ve ever seen at the time. I later got a 1:12 toy car and was by far the car that I protected the most and really took care of it and there were times where I didn’t even play with the car but just look at it and sometimes just imagining owning one and driving the car. There’s just this feeling/vibe that I get seeing that car and it’s amazing 🤩. Being a car enthusiast I think it’s safe to say that owning and driving a La Ferrari in my dream spec is what’s going to determine success in my life💪👌
