Wow. Nico? My bucket list drive. Well, my friend, I guess you are driving one. The Ferrari F-40 and the GTO would my favorites. No explanations are necessary, right? Also, I would like to drive a 1967 Alfa Romeo Guilia Super. That was the car I grew up with but never got to drive.

I don’t know what’s crazier, having a neighbor with an F40 or a neighbor who’s a Formula 1 Champion. Also, to even get a ride along in a F40 would be a dream come true. So to be more realistic my bucket list drive is a Honda NSX. Love the shape and interior design of that car so much and owning it’s smaller bro the MR2 I can only imagine how fun it must be to have a V6 in the back!

F40 is mine... it was 1993, i was 16, and my father was just stationed in Vicenza Italy from California and the first week we arrived my father drove by an F40 parked at a light store down the street from our house. I begged him to stop and let me get out and look, he made me ride my bicycle back. Although the older gentleman and I couldn't communicate verbally, he could tell how excited I was and even let me sit in the drivers seat... He gave me a memory I will have for the rest of my life. It was Nicola Materazzi who created this car including the GTO. He projected this car alone from head to bottom unlike nowadays where around 40 engineers are needed to make a car. The man is considered the best car engineer of all time, very humble and very sweet man. Rest in Peace now.

This and the Countach were the icons when i was a child as well. In my mind those 1980s cars like the F40, countach, deTomaso Pantera have this unique brutal wide and flat look, modern cars dont look that aggresive anymore. I would be satisfied with a white Ferrari Testarossa though :) There are actually tons of others cars that would be a dream to drive, not only the Testarossa, Countach or F40. Probably the Aston Martin DB5, Lancia Stratos, BMW M1, Ford GT40 and a bunch of modern cars as well. Even something like a DeLorean would be interesting
@giuseppemaggio5894
@giuseppemaggio5894 2 жыл бұрын
You don't really want to drive the Countach. That is a car you simply wanna look at and sit inside. It's a shitbox to drive. It's heavy, unstable and surprisingly slow. If you'd drive the F40 and then the Countach, the Lambo would feel like a tortoise
@danbarb9728
@danbarb9728 2 жыл бұрын
@@giuseppemaggio5894 True but most old cars are not as agile and fast as modern cars, i mean i want to drive a DeLorean which is slow as heck with a Renault engine as far as i know. Its more about emotion and feeling good while driving. An Aston Martin DB5 is also pretty bad to drive i guess or an old Mustang but they are beautys and every car has its emotion. An old Hemi V8 Hot rod would be an experience you never forget as well i guess. If its only about speed and lap times then you obviously want to drive a Mercedes Project one or the g like the Mercedes project one or the Rimac. The Countach is just emotion and childhood memories, it was the coolest thing ever back in the day and in my mind those cars look still cooler and meaner compared to modern day cars. Ever saw that De Tomaso Pantera, i saw one years ago at a gas station, its insanely wide and mean looking. It was the wide version with the wing

My question is, how did you tell your neighbor about the rear-view mirror? Some behind the scenes would be cool to watch. Anyway it's very nice that you keep the parts where you make mistakes in the video. Makes it funnier! Nico I respect you as a driver, world champion and through KZbin got to know you better. Really like your videos and your work in various fields. I loved seeing you enjoying this Ferrari so much. As Seb says, everyone is a Ferrari fan, even if they don't say so! My bucket list drive is any Ferrari car. I love Ferrari, and my dream is to drive one. Or at least be a passenger in one, once in my life. Sometimes when I see a Ferrari parked I'm tempted to wait for the owner and beg for a lift just to experience it!

I said to my self that car is beautiful, also it's the 1st car I've seen with paddle shifter and I think it's very cool during that time because most of the car in the early 2000's are still manual.

My all time most favorite car, the F40. I work in the automotive design studio industry, I get to see and create some of the newest cars out there, most go to the auto shows, some hit the streets, some never see the light of day, and this car stands above all of them. The closest I’ve come to the F40, was when I was living in Maranello, and a group of F40 rich guys drive their F40s down from Holland and Switzerland, some event was going on that weekend in Maranello, and the group of them drove by my apartment while I was bbq’ing on my balcony. What a sound!!!!! That was in 2013

My bucket list car is a Laferrari. When the car came out in 2013 I was in love, btw I was 8 at the time, it looked like nothing else I’ve ever seen at the time. I later got a 1:12 toy car and was by far the car that I protected the most and really took care of it and there were times where I didn’t even play with the car but just look at it and sometimes just imagining owning one and driving the car. There’s just this feeling/vibe that I get seeing that car and it’s amazing 🤩. Being a car enthusiast I think it’s safe to say that owning and driving a La Ferrari in my dream spec is what’s going to determine success in my life💪👌
