Oh, I loved this video with your walk, the town and festival , to see the area where you live and all. Have been watching you since you started and this was a nice added addition. Wonderful, thank you. from Colorado USA

It must have been so hard for you to leave your baby for the first time & go to work. The view that you showed on the way to the station was lovely. So sad about your missing clothes, especially as you make most of them yourself & they are just gorgeous! Always enjoy your podcasts, Maria. Cheers 🥰👏🤗😍❤️💕

Det är så roligt att följa dig här på KZbin, bilderna från Sverige gav mig hemlängtan, jag bor i Kanada. Så tråkigt med kläderna som försvann, hoppas de blev till glädje och nytta för någon annan.

Wow such beautiful countryside. W While you were waiting at the train station and mentioned about your backpack I was shocked that it was made in 2018. I remember seeing it then. How well it has lasted and how quickly time goes. Lovely video.

Yes! It is a really great bag. I just love Noodle Head patterns :) So fun that you remember the backpack from then

Lovely vlog :) I understand the struggle of the first day back at work!! Happy it went so well. And sorry to hear that your winter clothes are gone!! But as you say, in some ways it’s nice to have the opportunity of a fresh start :)

You did so good-that first real extended time away from your little one is so hard. I remember that feeling even 40+ years later. I hope someone else gets to enjoy those pieces of clothing and the work and expertise you put into them. I just loved you sharing some of the Swedish country side , the market and your transportation. More please, and eventually the shop where you’re working. 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

Really enjoyed your vlog, so much. Seeing the beautiful countryside around you and the lovely walk to the station. Hard going back to work with a little one, but hope it gets easier over time? I was wondering whether your clothes could be in your loft/attic? If not, I know you will make some lovely new ones and enjoy wearing them. Do love your colour palette. X💕
@StitchedinSweden3 ай бұрын
Thank you so much 😊 Yes it will get easier but that first time never is! We only have a few board games in the attic unfortunately and the only other places they could be are the garage and storage shed, both of which I've looked through thoroughly. Oh well, it will be a good chance for a fresh start

Such a lovely little vlog Maria…..thank you. So hard parting from your baby & starting back at work, but lovely that you have your mum to rely on. How you manage to fit all your sewing & knitting into this busy family life I’ll never know…..you’re amazing! Take care of yourself….xx

Thanks for the view to the walk to the train and the yarn store. We were in Sweden this summer visiting family and vacationing. It is so beautiful and such a great quality of life. We took our 15 yo and 12 yo to meet their family and see the country. I’m hoping we can go back again soon. I’m loving seeing all your sewing and knitting plans and it’s giving me inspiration to start my fall plans. I’m hoping to get more sewing done this fall, especially pants. Happy fall.

Really enjoyed the pretty countryside, it isn't as dissimilar to my Swiss countryside as I expected! I was remembering that you made a baby carrier for your first daughter and wondered how that held up now that you have had three daughters? :)
@StitchedinSweden3 ай бұрын
Ahh yes! I mostly used that one for Eloise and not so much for the other two girls although I could have. We ended up getting an Ergobaby carrier that fit Thomas better and had the possibility for them to be forward facing as well so we use that one a lot more. Once they are about 4months old they really prefer to face out most of the time, but other than that I really love the carrier I made :)

well hello - long time, no chat, maria-my-fav. libby here - who went m.i.a. for awhile b/c life got crazy. it's still a bit cray - b/c, you know - the States, and what's going on over here.. anyhoo maria! this was lovely! i wanted to be on that path you were walking down at the opening of this vlog - i could almost smell the fall. so lovely, your home away from home in sweden. not too unlike boulder, methinks, just on a much smaller scale. and no flatirons, natch. but so peaceful and rural and charming - just loved seeing this part of your life, thank you. i put my knitting needles down this spring, en route to alaska, and only just the other day, picked them back up - to knit Santa's clothesline! b/c i fell hard for yours! what influence you have over us! love that. thanks again for the vlog - keep it up! cheers from libby in utah

Hi Libby, so good to hear from you again :) I hope you are well despite things being crazy. I love that you are knitting a santa's clothesline. What a perfect time to do it! I need to get a christmas stocking for Linnea on my needles ASAP!

Loved this , Maria, but then i always look forward to yr videos. I was mortified that your clothes were gone!!!! :-0. I think it takes a while for it to sink in because you feel SURE they must be somewhere!!! And i thought you must have gone back to wrk full time with linnea so young still! ! It's so hard to leave our babies but wth Thomas and yr mum, that worked perfectly! And a yarn shop? Yayyyy!!!! You'll be such an asset!!! Are you working there every weekend or was it just for that weekend?
@StitchedinSwedenАй бұрын
Somehow I missed your message! Thanks for watching I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the video :) Yes I work at the yarn shop a few days a week at the moment. It is quite fun. Linnea is still so young but this is what is working for us at the moment so we are going with it. I still get lots of snuggle time with her so that is good :)
