Hey , big fan of your content Question - would you know what role does “team fluidity” play in a tactic

Honestly I am not 100 percent. If it is structured I think the team shape will stick mostly to what it is. So players won't move much from their zones. I am not definite on this though so don't want to give any 'absolute' advice on it

The fluidity is just informative from what I've read. Meaning that you have a lot of support roles for your chosen mentality. It, in and of itself, doesn't do anything. As Stinger said, this will cause the shape to move as the players try to respond to what they are seeing both on attack and defense. In my experience, you want good mentals so the players will make good reads (Anticipation, Off the Ball, Positioning) and then make a good choice on what to do with what they read on the pitch (Decisions, Concentration, Composure). This is especially true if you are light on player or team instructions (leaving a lot to their judgments) or less mobile team since it will be harder for them to correct themselves and recover ground.
