Important lesson: Check your trashcan before dumping more trash in it or emptying it. I'm so glad the custodian was able to call Hope for Paws to rescue this family instead of having to call Animal Control. I hope they all find homes soon.

@┏┳┛ You do realize there's something called *vet bills* they have to pay. They rescue many animals without recording it and I'm pretty sure most of the money goes to *vet bills* There's also equipment they have to buy, which isn't so cheap. Expenses play a big part in money.

Our mama cat had her litter under the floorboard up in the hay loft. I was able to get 4 kittens out and brought them down. Within 15 minutes mama cat brought the 2 remaining kittens down to be with the 4 I got. I kept the male and adopted out the mama and the other 5 kittens to good homes. The boy rides on the back of my ATV when I go out to work the pastures.

That part with Mrs.B watching her kittens playing and having the life all kittens deserve made eyes tear up. It's sad that mama cat couldn't be rehomed but I know that isn't always an option. God bless everyone involved in this rescue!!

You need to ck out Takis Shelter in Greece...although Hope for Paws rescues, when someone let's them know (don't get me wrong, I love them!) Takis rescues from calls AND going to the "rubbish" everyday...plus a myriad of things AND lives on the property taking care of not only HIS shelter but helping other shelters in Greece.. !! Channels like this have helped be realize how much we need to help these animals. I have officially completed 5 TNR and have about 4 to 6 more cats in my area to do. All have been boys so far, so no kittens yet, thank goodness. I've also started to befriend a few of them due to daily feeding and one (Chuck) is starting to let me pet him during feeding. I've very happy, even if I did endure a few cat scratches and catching other wildlife as well.
