Problem: Toys everywhere and the boy's room needs repainting. The girl's room isn't great, but it's not as over the top as the boy's is. Folks also should expect signs of kids around the place if they do have them, but the amount of toys is just too much and they need to be put away or put in storage or something.

I would imagine they keep it a mess for the show. It is big enough just too much stuff and not tidy. Of course you do have the paint color too. Yup this is a easy fix

I just cannot believe that the issue with this house not selling is the clutter and color of the walls. I suspect dog smell and cheap dirty carpet. Also maybe orientation north of the back yard or lack of parking space. We did not see the bathrooms. Kitchen, we had a peak and it looked not very high standard neither modern. So it is typically a deco show.

People assume all sorts of defects with the house because of clutter. Also first time buyers don't have time and money for diy even painting. They want a move in ready house.
