What do you think the main reason why Jerry and Sally's home was unsellable?
@kmclane12 Жыл бұрын
You could tell neither one of the home owners wanted to put any EFFORT into selling their property! Sad! Glad Sofie was so patient! Blessings and Peace ✝️❤️

In prior episodes she always tells sellers to make a bedroom look like a bedroom. In this one she makes too many of them look like sitting rooms.
@craftyhobbit7623 Жыл бұрын
I agree. I don't understand why people need to have multiple sitting rooms. One of them would have been OK being kept as an office if it had been tidied and organized better. It's being untidy and disorganized that was the problem, not what they were using it for.

I loved your designs don’t listen to the nay sayers. The fact that you show the whole process and give such great information is why I keep watching, loved the plate wall in the dining room, it’s so refreshing to see something different besides just a pretty picture. I loved your design style in all the rooms, also all the great information and ideas.

If you don't want to be a maid in your own home, you need to put your foot down. No picking up after your spouse and no nagging - that's you still taking responsibility for the mess. Make it clear that you're not OK with this, he's not living in a student dorm, he's an actual adult and needs to take responsibility if he wants your respect

Start dumping the items he doesn’t put away. Don’t live with his mess, take it to the thrift store or the dump. Refuse to shop for him. He will catch on real quick. Growing up is hard to do.

The biggest problem is that this family doesn't seem to want to keep the place tidy - and there is no excuse for it because it's big enough to have everything stored neatly. Having lived in a small flat for about ten years and hating it because the size made it difficult to store things makes me hate it even more when people have the room to keep it tidy.

In 2024, the price on that house has probably doubled. Condos have all their own issues. Ppl on top of each other. Ever increasing monthly fees, HOA management w/ ridiculous rules, or no enforcement of existing rules. With what you pay in monthly fees, if you spent that on hiring help w/ a home, such as maintenance, lawn care, upkeep, etc., you’d still have a lot of money saved each year.

Why do they now have three living rooms? Plates on the wall are cheugy. And the bamboo blinds look like they belong in a dorm room (because they do). Terrible renovation.

You probably would try harder to imagine how it could be if there wasn't much else on offer in your price range, but it's hard to see past mess, so you'd automatically be more attracted to places that looked great, particularly if the messy one is on the expensive side.

Why is this woman laughing at her man child's behaviour? I can see why she wouldnt want a yard because her lazy husband wouldnt do the yard work and it would end up being another job she would have to take over! Why dont men's mothers teach them to be responsible for their own mess and for their childrens mess?
