@@mo0onsh0t Mates will act according to their personality. That's why you have to figure out their personality before you confirm them as your mate, to make sure that it's what you need. I believe that Loner personalities are more likely to go off on their own (so if you're at the den, they'll go off and hunt/mark, but if you're off hunting/marking, they'll stay at the den). And it was pretty obvious from the start that Persephone is a loner

One time my mate left me and my 6 pups. I didn’t want to disturb her in case she was doing something important so I stayed at the den. She came back like 2 years later, not having marked any hexes, and not having brought back any food. Why, Violet? Were you going to see the wolf you told me not to worry about? Have you been raising a family besides mine? Who were you with last night, Violet? Hm?

Hey Seri! Do Shift-F to enable pup cam where you can take a close look at your pups! Press shift-f to navigate threw pups press space to go back to your main wolf (or any other button though this one i prefer) I use pup cam to take photos of my pups and I must say my files are full now!! -When you see a cute moment between your pups but cant catch it time go into photo mode (shift-p) and press shift-f which lets you navigate threw pups while in photo mode!! -Pup cam can also help you find your lost pups -Apparently pup cam doesn’t enable when your away from your pups or when their in the den

They're actually really helpful, since they reinforce the territory on their own you don't really have to worry about doing it yourself so you can spend more time with your puppies.

when you are entering water and you want to be faster than your hunt to scare it to the other side, you can go into the water then jump and that will make your wolf just glide across the water for a couple of seconds

I got some rendezvous site and Den names :> Blossomed Meadows (rendezvous) Fallen Cliffs (a rock den) Thistled Greens (Rendezvous) Pansy Burrows (Hole den) Willow Hollows (Tree den) Twilight’s gaze (Maybe a rendezvous site that was found on the brink of twilight, and a field that shimmers to the site of the moon) Fallen Meadows (Rendezvous site on a hill) Fallen Elm [Tree] (Tree den) Inspiring words that might help you come up with ur own den names: Meadows Bloom Flowering Strike Fallen Edit: im pretty sure they fixed it to the point where your mate goes off alone to hunt or mark more often, she seemed to be hunting that elk herd Also Persephone seems like more of a Loner wolf

Persephone was marking the territory. I’ve had several mates that as soon as the pups were born they’d mark territory. It gave me time to watch over the pups and do some hunting without worrying about the territory. It helps a lot when they mark territory by themselves.

I know this is an old video but here's a tip! When hunting near water, if they go into the water completely remove yourself (and your mate) from the hunt until the arrow has dissappeared, hide in some tall grass and wait for them to come back. This part is complicated as they may take a few minutes, if they do not come back and have crossed over the river; cross the river from a safe distance so they do not see you and then sneak up on them using the crouch. That is what I normally do and it almost always works but does take patience!! (it works for me, 9/10 times)

Seri Julan got her beautiful white coat from her grandma Meadow!! I had this thing too where both of my wolves were brown coated having a white coated baby. It was the only white wolf pup I got other than a dark grey one. I remembered that their ancestors all had white coat and it was so cool to know they inherit coat colours.

I had two of those bright white pups in one litter once. Persephone is a loner wolf, and will do her own thing sometimes, either marking territory or hunting. Personally, I prefer having a mate who will actually help out with patrols and feed themselves, social mates are kind of useless in that aspect. The only personality trait you should worry about is laziness, because a lazy mate will sit around all day doing nothing, and won't lift a paw to help raise the pups. If you want her with you, you just have to call her to your side with your secondary howl (double tap H) Also, if you're away from the den with your mate and you want them to go back to the den, woofing at them will tell them to do that.

Its most often a good thing if your mate goes off on their own as while they mark you can mark in a different to get it done quicker or hunt.

Mates will go off to try and find the carcases to eat as well, even if it is far off. Could be marking territory, or could be trying to grab the bite to eat. Or, could be chasing off other dispersals from the territory.

If a deer gets into the water u could try to stop and give them enough time to run away from the water area, so they don't turn back immediately. Then chase again.

Ok so Arrow update Arrow and Stormcloud claimed territory, then had five pups: Lightning, a lightning brown male pup, Bluebell II, a black female, Lunar Moon, a black male, Daisy II, a black female, and Rainstorm, a dark grey male. I looked on the map and saw a pretty low hex so Arrow barked at the pups to go in the den (I thought) and ran to the hex. But it was a random hex that we didn't need so yeah left it. Then I remapped the favorite emotes and stuff because I got a new computer and yeah. Arrow then actually barked the pups into the den and he and Stormcloud went hunting. They killed an elk and brought food back to the pups, and on the way wrecked some dispersals , and fed the pups, and slept. Then Arrow went to mark territory and yeah. He came back and slept, then went to mark territory again. Then coyotes came but Stormcloud kicked their butts before anyone else could react. Arrow marked territory and killed an elk. He and Stormcloud ate then ran back to the den to sleep. Arrow went to mark territory AGAIN and chased a wolf away, then ran back home because this episode is too looonnnnnnnggggggggggggggggg

My mate for my second gen wolf is a 4 star match, but he tends to go off and hunt or mark on his own. It's part of a new update- tho it was already possible for it before the update, it was way less likely to happen which was not as realistic because real wolves will tend to go out on their own if they think their mate can take care of their pups.

Diversity only affects your pups’ ability to survive sickness, so it’s perfectly normal that you got a big litter. However, two black wolves will actually have a smaller litter so there is some truth to it.
