There's so much great information in this video! That jalapeño beer probably goes quite well with a lot of Mexican foods, especially mariscos. The shrimp vendor was sorted with his cans of Tecate Lite in the cooler - we'd buy from in an instant! 🍺
@RickRackTravels3 жыл бұрын
Hi Guy's yes the shrimp vendor seemed very happy with his Tecate he's a super nice guy and the shrimp are super fresh. The brewery has lot's of great options if you are ever down here.

@@RickRackTravels, whoops - my initial comment for "10 Fun Facts About Puerto Morelos" (the shrimp vendor with Tecate Lite) landed on this video. Thought we had commented but couldn't see our comment on there, hence we commented again (second time on the right video). Sorry for the flub!

Hi guys, Steve from Ontario again. How much would it cost to rent a car to visit some cenotes one day in Puerto Morelos, or would it be better done with a taxi driver? Love your videos, hope we see you guys next month!
@RickRackTravels3 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve, you could try and negotiate with a taxi driver. We haven't taken a taxi to a cenote for a couple of years but if I remember correctly we paid 450 pesos for a taxi to drop us off and come back a few hours later. Of course that may have changed by now but there's no harm in asking. With regards to renting a car it may be the better option as you could explore all day and visit two or three different cenotes. Again we haven't rented a car for a couple of years but it shouldn't be any more than 40 to 50 USD for a day. We don't want to give an exact price because next month is the start of high season and the prices change. We are not sure where you are staying but if you watch our previous video on transportation in PM we show where you can rent a car both on the Port side and La Colonia. Hope this helps and hope to see you guy's in PM!

how are the cenotes around PM vs. cenote in tulum area?
@RickRackTravels3 жыл бұрын
Hi, the there are lot's of fantastic cenotes in this area we have a road just outside of town called La Ruta de Los Cenotes. Its about 35 Km long and has dozens of Cenotes. There are new ones opening all the time. Some are private and can only be accessed by prior arrangement but most are open to the public. There are great Cenotes around Tulum though as well.
