Cody's comment about finding good people to help you in the areas you're weak in is MOST important. I've found that there are often many people around you that naturally have the skills you lack; they're looking for direction and guidance. You, as the Key Person of Influence are the driving spirit of the project, you need one operations/admin, one finance/money person, and one sales/marketing; according to Dan Priestley.

He just listens to my first million and probably other podcast from moiz Ali and some other but he for sure does not know what he is doing and is lying . 😂😂 The line “I don’t have time for 10 million a year” was so funny to me cause dude u have ai subscription company with no clear distinction from others 😂

Hey Cody if you're in the comments, i travel full time for about 7-8 years (digital nomad i own a digital advertising business) with my wife and kids, ive really noticed huge potential when im travelling for an app/site/market place of travel gear rental from locals in what ever area you're visiting, surfboards/bikes on beaches, skis/snowboards in ski areas, motobike rental, electric scooter/bikes/skates in cities, car rental, etc etc. Would you be able to recommend how to build out the market place? eg what platform or tool should i use to build the actual platform? I want to test out the idea for a low budget and just target one category/area at first eg surfboards in bali or ski gear in chamonix etc.
@codyschneiderx
@codyschneiderx Ай бұрын
i wouldn't get hung up on the tools. Use off the shelf in all honesty though marketplaces like this are so hard. its a chicken and egg problem no vendors, no items for cusotmers no customers, no vendors want to be there the path to make this work though is make hundreds of thousands long tail landing pages for ski rentals for xyz locations and then build a stupid amount of links but there are way easier businesses like you make an agency that does google ads for adventure sports retreats like paragliding and print way more money faster honestly a marketplace like that would be easier to build and rank and all those camps high ticket items

i'm into the chrome extension idea. i'm a designer and i can code decently, but it would be great to have someone to try this with, since it is basically zero cost to implement and seems a lot of fun. @JacklynMillerJacklyn747
@JacklynMillerJacklyn747 7 күн бұрын
@@irhapsody2010 I do. I'm an instructional design graduate student, and I have a design and visual arts background. So, to see these concepts over-simplified is slightly bothersome, especially if I put myself in the shoes of someone new to the design world. There are millions of people who know that an SVG file is a vector file, but don't know what a vector is, isn't, or why a vector is necessary in some projects, but not in others. So many tutorials teach these concepts from a top down approach instead of visa versa. While technology is amazing and there are shorter ways to accomplish tasks that used to take hours, many times, the end result is still a sacrifice in quality. Teaching workflow or why someone should do things a certain way is just as important, if not more so, than the end result. Excuse the rant, I'm passionate about these things.
