May I ask - I'm a new subscriber, is this channel specifically to give the audience ideas to actually run with or is it just to give the audience a dopamine hit for viewers and dreamers? I think a great episode would be about someone in the audience taking an idea and creating value. I'm currently moving my published books into digital courses and enjoying the process but I think I would feel empty if I just thought that's a great idea and then didn't follow through. Cody doesn't really understand marketing fully. Brand is a must have in 2024 and beyond. Cold outreach is pretty much dead or you need to be really good at it. Additionally, I'm surprised that people think that these ideas are really new or something great, because local service agencies have been around for a very long time and these businesses are definitely not as easy as they once were. You have to be really skilled because the market is super saturated...

My experience is limited as a past QB user but I plan to speak with an accountant with lots of QB experience. I’ll ask a lot of questions and go from there. After seeing what some startups have been able to do with Chrome extensions, this idea got my attention right away.

I like the vibe but these are easy to shoot down with 5 minutes of validation: 1. Local seo agency is basically just stealing what Jackys telling people. He’s a G tho fr but local seo niches are a lot more competitive than it looks. Any high ticket business is mostly taken by now. 2. Quickbooks App Store doesn’t have apps for a reason. Any enterprise will want sock2 compliance (expensive and annoying to get) and if you had actually looked at the store there are 3-4 super apps that have 10+ integrations in 1 app covering all of your keywords. Which all by the way have very low search volume. Like

I just spoke with one account friend over text. Will have phone call with her in a few days. She’s already answered one of my questions with a YES there are a few things that drive her crazy with Quickbooks. Things that she says take up too much time and shouldn’t be this way. She went on to write “someone could easily fix this problem that a lot of us have.”
