The first time I saw the sunset at Boracay, I literally cried. 🥺😅 We were on a sunset cruise, music was playing and the sunset was so beautiful it made me realize how endings can also be beautiful.

The Philippines has over 7,000 Islands Boracay is just some Islands is also the most crowded. There's plenty of beaches in Philippines that are not over crowded plenty to choose.

A tip for anyone who burns easy or just really cares about sun protection. ALWAYS put your cream on naked lol you won’t have any bits that might become visible when your clothes move and then burn. Try to avoid going out in the afternoon sun. I sun bath until 11am, go for lunch etc, then if I want I’ll sunbath after 3/4pm. Drink lots of water! It prevents you from burning if your skin is hydrated. I will put moisturiser on in the morning, let it soak in and then apply suncream. I’ll moisturise on the evening after a shower as well. If you want a tan do it gradual. Once you burn you have to cover up which means you miss out on tanning time. An hour in the morning and an hour in the late afternoon will give you a lovely tan.

I can really relate to what you said about eating alone. I travelled solo for the first time last year and I enjoyed the trip but there were a few times when I was in the airport or at dinner, I felt like I would have liked someone to be with me.

I can take you to the provinces see the green environment - rain forest - water falls - rivers - rice fields - coco plantation and taste local wines - as well as meeting local people. You should not travel alone 'cause you will not see the sides of the islands.

Oh boy last time I was in Boracay it was much less busy. Seems the Filipinas are making up for lost time! May I suggest Bantayan or Malapascua islands and just as beautiful. Oh your going to El Nido, don’t miss Nacpan beach, it’s amazing!
