I love that Demi Moore's character is not just a token/love-interest to Cruise's caracther.
@presentprogressive87803 ай бұрын
That's supposedly because in an early draft the role was written as a man and subsequently changed to a woman, which made some Executive question why there is no sex scene between Cruise and Moore and made Sorkin write a scene at the very end where they talk about going on a date, but he eventually stood his ground and removed any romantic relationship between the two characters.

Galloway was an incompetent lawyer who insinuated herself into the case even after she was rejected by division, then nearly blew the whole thing..and then tried, and ultimately succeeded, in shaming Kaffey into risking a court martial in defending the two marines he was representing. A real piece of work. Worst part was when he apologized after going off on her (which she absolutely had coming).
