Love your machine. You beat me to making the video about checking whether I should be using the 1/4” vs the scant 1/4” I need to do some testing on my tension too.

Juki Junkies have a video on tension, they have a lot of helpful videos. I thought I would try the scant seam, but it does make a difference.

It is quiet, and no vibration. It's so heavy, I usually sew on a gate legged sewing table, but was worried about its weight, so have it on a much sturdier table. I hadn't even heard much about Juki until recently...it is the best gift, a magical machine.

Great tips, thanks for sharing. Check stitch #2 I believe it is automatically set for 1/4 inch stitch. I love my new Juki and it sews like a dream and is so quiet. I'm getting use to the heal cut the thread feature ,yours has it too doesn't it?

Yes, it has the thread cutter function turned off for now, until I find how lead footed I am. It is quiet and steady, no vibration.
