My favourite today was the new 2000 IoM Millenium Bells! Not the best of the four hunts but still not bad. 😊 Despite it being a common coin, one of my favourite £1 was always that 2007 Millennium Bridge 👍⭐️

This was a very lucky batch of coins indeed. What do you think about those common shiny ones? How could it be possible to find coins in such a good state after so many years??? 🤔🤔🤔

@@mcollects Could be someone has been saving them in a pot. Banks apparently will now only accept the round £1 coins from demonetised coinage. They used to accept pre-decimals in the past as long as they were in £1 lump sums from the same denomination i.e. 240 x pennies, 20 shillings etc.

Is it possible to find a rotation on a £1 coin that is not fake Miro? As the £2’s certainly do. It was always unlikely to find Edinburgh Arms, maybe next time

Hello Ian, I’ve found a 2013 Floral Wales in my collection that had a quarter rotation error! I’ve heard a few people have found similar too 😊

Seems like it is possible as Emanuel has found one. Generally I am suspicious when I find rotation on those coins as most of the time they are fakes 😉😉😉

Shame you did not find an Edinburgh Arms after searching through 4000 coins. You could always sell some of those you found to buy an Edinburgh Arms. 😂😂

I am not complaining Karen. Only one coin to find for the whole book is not a bad result after 4k of coins searched 🙂🙂🙂 And as this is my second set of circulating £1 coins it is not necessary to buy it 😁😁😁 I will find it at a later time 😉😉😉
