The solidarity of folks at sea always impresses. Human kindness remains in existence. :-)

Ok, you need to come to Louisiana, USA. So that we can show you great food and how to eat it! Would to love to see you here! And to the pretty lady, I must say one thing. The boat people are awesome but so are the land people. If you ride a bike or rv ,the people are awesome too. Also, if you go into small communities, the people are awesome too. There are awesome people in many places, just not all places. But I know what you were trying to say about our sailors. Love them! Sail on! And enjoy! You two are awesome! Might want to try a motorcycle sometime?:)

First watch for me and y'all seem very genuine as well as good! There was a comment about experiencing help at sea on a boat as being better and not as easily done while on shore? Not sure that I agree with that comment, but understand the since of urgency you had as well as not having many corrective avenues to take while at sea. Please understand that most people whether at sea or on shore truly want to help others in need when they can. Good video and will review some more! Thank You!

You might also want to consider getting an emergency hand pumped desalination. Ideally you’d have one for your ditch bag, regardless. You do have a ditch bag, yes?
@sailinglattitude91706 жыл бұрын
Hi, yes we do have a ditch bag and it does have a little hand pump in it but we didn't think we were in that much of a disaster to warrant using it haha

Weren't you also trying to get out of Maupiti because of incoming bad weather the next day? Going back into that pass at night with bad weather coming in, wouldn't have been good...

Hahaha it was definitely the silver lining! Especially after we had a beer can spillage a few months back...

If your bilge was filling with water, wouldn’t the bilge alarm / pump come on. Or don’t you have a bilge alarm. Curious minds🤔
@sailinglattitude91706 жыл бұрын
The bilge pump was going but we don't have an alarm... the engine was going so the pump was hard to hear and we were all up on deck so no one noticed it until I went downstairs and saw everything on the panel flashing at me!!!

catch a shark and you'd have shark steaks for a few weeks... You'd just have to blow it's brains out before you brought it on board... That's if it's ok to catch and kill a shark... I've never heard of anyone on a sailboat catch one yet here on YT!!!! LOL... Of course I don't know of anyone carrying a gun to shoot one with if they caught it....
@grancito26 жыл бұрын
You haven't been told who carries a gun. 2 boats on youtube admit to carrying guns, not a good idea as officials don't look after them if you hand them in, and they may watch youtube, so will be looking for them.
