You should be careful about the word 'conflict' you use. That's not a conflict between China and Japan. That's a purify crime Japan invaded China.

Japan invaded China, killed 300000 people in Nanjing. I come from Nanjing, my grandparents and other relatives suffered badly from this war, it is a horrible war crime! You need to visit Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall in Nanjing City that memorizes the over 300, 000 victims slaughtered by Japanese Forces of Aggression during World War II.

不过,JOE,我想纠正一下这个展馆叫做 南京大屠杀遇难同胞纪念馆,而不是南京南京大屠杀纪念馆。纪念的是遇难同胞。JOE, I would like to correct the fact that this pavilion is called the Nanjing Memorial Hall for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre, not the Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall in Nanjing. The memorial is for the compatriots who were killed.

It's so nice to watch your solo experience in China. Such a unique v-log. China is a special place on the planet that the modernization works for such a dense population. That explains the logics of many differences, such as 3 toilets in one train, the foolproof security/traffic flow in the station as well as the compact design of all city architecture. Within a small neighborhood in Shanghai and Nanjing, population could reach half million or even a million. Efficiency is everything in that case. Thanks for sharing! I believe a local cell number will be a game-changer with Alipay next time!

Hi, joe, welcome to Nanjing. In fact, many attractions have been commercialized, making it difficult to be in them and resonate with history. In fact, it is difficult for many domestic tourists to experience history in a noisy environment. I hope you can seek some suggestions next time you come, so that you can feel the emotion and spirit of this city in a limited time.

that massive wall is the Nanjing city wall (similar as the Great wall, but it surrounded Nanjing city), 600+ years history, every brick used to build the city wall has the producer's info on it, which helped the government to track their quality in the future. You should've seen it, very famous. AND, this massive wall is the real real real history, but you just missed it, so unfortunate.

Great video. Just for the record, google Nanjing city wall and get some history shock😮. It is a wall of more than 600 years history and Nanjing is the third biggest city in the east of China. Nanjing does have more historic and natural scenery to explore, but I do agree with the downsides of commercial streets. So try to do some research before going, good luck with your next ride.

Wooooo, you choose Nanjing. In fact, few foreigners will choose this city although it's so famous in China and so many Chinese travel to Nanjing. Why? Because this city is the elder capital of China and it is famous for its long history. There are many places with historic stories, but if you don't know these stories, of course you will disappoint. And I notice you choose Fuzimiao to visit. I will give you the advice for this place that you should go there at night and try to get on a boat and go throught Qinghuai River to feel it. Also you go to Laomendong and at the end you find a wall. That's the old city wall and now in China few cities have the city wall even in Beijing they are also destroyed! The better way is to get on the city wall and you can see the moat and Great Baoen Temple. Next time you visit Nanjing, please hire a guide, you will get totally different experience. This city is so so nice to walk. And so many places you can enjoy. Trust me.
