it really depends on how well they research it and which parts they are researching. If they focus hard on it being a game, then it's going to be very different than if they focus hard on it being a story. A story where you fight against some evil faction or something.

I think they could actually manage to make a movie that both adapts the gameplay and the story. Early in the movie it could adapt aspects of the goofiness that the BR can have, but as the movie progresses, we peel back the simpleness of the BR to reveal the IO has been behind the strings the whole time. Kind of inspired from the Batman x Fortnite comics. I think it’s after that first movie where game elements fade away as the storyline would get more adapted in the movie space.

I actually made a concept for a Fortnite movie based on c2s2, here it is (also it would obviously be animated): Also I’ll just clarify that this was made before the rise of Midas event happened, so it would retcon it a little The movie would be based on Chapter 2 Season 2 and would have Skye as the protagonist and would be about having to stop Shadow with Chaos Agent being the “main villain” (also according to Midas, chaos agent killed skyes mom, who was a former agent working for Midas and that would be skyes motive for joining midas) and the other agents, Maya, Peely, Tntina, Brutas, Meowscles, and Deadpool would choose sides (ghost or shadow) and would cause conflict between them, this would be most of the first and second act but it would be revealed at the end of the 2nd act when Midas goes “to kill Chaos Agent” (Skye would sneak along) that Chaos Agent was a robot created by Midas and ghost vs shadow was just a distraction crated so people won’t know about the device, and Midas would be revealed to be the main antagonist of the movie. (Who also was skyes moms true killer) Midas’s motive would be to use the device to break the loop, but then take it over and turn it into his image of a perfect kingdom (That would tie into why he joined the IO before betraying them), Skye and Midas would then fight and Midas would win, knocking out Skye and believing she died Skye would then obviously still be alive and get a few characters (drift, Peely, and Deadpool) to stop Midas before it’s too late leading to the climax with the device being activated and Skye (wearing spectra Knight as armor for protection against the golden touch) and Midas (Wearing Cyclo to control the device and can be used as armor as well) having a final fight on top of the agency, but obviously the device would destroy the storm and the island would flood, Midas and Skye would have one final battle before Midas gets thrown off the agency and into the water, where a shark eats him The movie would end with Skye going off the island to go on a new adventure, the end

@@MichealAfton1983 this is a really amazing concept for a Fortnite film I had a similar idea for a Fortnite series based on chapter 2 seasons 1 and 2 where in the first season which is based on chapter 2 season 1 drift is our main character as we get a flashback to season 5 where drift is trapped in fortnite at the beginning of the series we follow the group of ghost agents in the season 1 battle pass crash land on the chapter 2 map losing there memory’s while trying to navigate the new island at the end of the first episode drift finds them and guides them throughout the loop as he’s been there for years while they explore the new island they are hunted down by evil clones of the ghost squad this is revealed to be the organisation shadow ran by sorana and chaos agent, chaos agent is a mad scientist focused on creating a world in his image (he’s the guy creating the clones) he’s similar to dr eggman sorana is a soldier who wants to control the world they teamed up to create shadow the plot would quickly revolve around trying to stop shadow from obtaining Rippleys dna as if that happens chaos agent can create an unstoppable super soldier army at the end of season 1 ghost gets away but chaos agent creates an army of Rippley clones the end credits would be Midas recruiting journey Season 2: journey would start to leave the ghost group more and more the group would question this and follow her to the agency there they would get captured by a bunch of henchmen there Midas would tell everyone that they were part of a former military known as ghost and that he used to run the spy department of the military he explains how most of ghost has been shut down but he has been running it now he then kicks them out as there work is classified he dosnt kill them because they are allies before he dose that he employs drift to be a part time agent half the show he’ll be at the agency the other half he will be looking over the remaining ghost crew (throughout the show we will see Midas talking to a golden statue this is later revealed to be his daughter jules) the main cast would be the season 2 battle pass with sky being the main character we would see early on in the show that Midas isn’t who he says he is as he eliminates journey by turning her into a gold statue we wouldn’t know y he is doing this yet though we would also see in the background that agent peely is spying on Midas as peely is working for the imagined order and Midas used to be apart of the io and is now stuck in the loop (deadpool would join the main cast halfway through the season) we would also see the shadow and ghost henchman duo as the shadow henchman joins ghost as a double agent we would see throughout the season Midas picking of each character one by one turning them into golden statues leaving only meowcells and Skye (and deadpool but he goes back to the og ghost group later on) the henchman duo would discover that Midas being self-aware that he’s in a loop is causing him to go crazy making him desperately want to escape he also discovers that agent peely is working for the io and there’s a scene where Midas speaks to Geno through peely’s walky talky the henchmen discover Midas is working on a device the is going to break the storm and he needs the life force of loopers to do it the henchmen tell Skye and meowcells after there final mission where Midas eliminates chaos agent and destroys shadow Skye and meowcells confronts and battles Midas in his office unfortunately they lose and are turned into golden statues the henchmen duo see this and tell the og ghost group as in the final episode Midas puts on the cyclone suit to harness the power of his device as the device is activated the og ghost group consisting of everyone from the season 1 battle pass and drift&deadpool fighting Midas and trying to shut down the device in the end all the ghost squad fail and the device breaks the storm as drift is transported to jonsey’s office and back throughout the fight. the episode ends with all the people who were turned into golden statues being revived as the io creates a tsunami storm to keep the loop going Midas looks in shock horror and disbelief as the tsunami hits the island and destroys the agency we then see Midas on a raft as he’s eaten by a shark the season ends with everyone In the main cast and the og ghost squad at the remains of the agency as from the rubble of the building jules Midas’s daughter walks out and asks the ghost crew for help. (All the remaining plot things that didn’t get resolved would be resolved in season 3)

i really think it could work, i dont think it needs to adapt the game storyline, just a quick and fun story about jonesy maybe slowly figuring out about the loop somehow and crafting its own story and possibly dropping small hints of the game lore that could set up sequels. i think that if there needed to be an adaptation of the whole storyline it could work best as an animated show, similar to arcane.

I just want donalds story to officially end. I would want all of the villains to team up against everyone and try to take down the island. I wanna see the IO (who I think should betray Geno)and Seven team up. As we know, AMIE said the seven were different (which probably means evil) so we needa turn them back. After this, I wanna see the og storyline get an official end. (Not a movie or show, an ingame event) Here would be the teams for the final battle: Heroes: Jones, the seven (whoever survived the chrome), hope, Slone and the IO (who as I said, betray Geno), and the loopers (US!) Villains: Geno, The cube queen, the Herald, The chpt 2 ailens, the last reality Now, obviously Geno would have to prove to cube queen and herald they can trust them, but I think he can. After the final battle, there will have to be some deaths. I just wanna see jones reform the seven (Maybe hope could be in it) This is my way to the end of the fortnite storyline!

@@LunarAlt I always thought drift should be the main character if they made a Fortnite film (not because my main skin is summer drift😭) I think he’s the best character to be the main character as he’s the only one we have seen get sucked into the Fortnite loop from his original reality back in the season 5 trailer even tho people saying jones should be the main character which I get but then again he works for the imagined order in the beginning so that would mean to reveal the io in the film basically immediately which is a problem since a big part of the early storyline is the mystery of the io and the mystery of who created the loop

@@LunarAlt ye I do feel like the dynamic between renegade raider and drift would have worked so well if we followed him getting trapped in the loop as renegade raider has been trapped for literal years and if it’s a drift origin story then he would have probably been trapped for a couple of days so the dynamic those two could have had with them both experiencing the same issue but with a drastic difference between how long it’s effected them could have been so good 😭
