The original version has a shorter intro and plays through the drop. Having listened to that version a thousand times the edited version for Ep2 really hits hard as you expect the rest of the drop and a larger battle to break out but no, the song ends the moment Pigma head shots Eckblade and his buddy. The electronic drum hits that line up with gunshots are the beginning of the larger drop from the original version - awesome way to play with expectations and to sonically reflect the action in the scene! kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaaxc6ZqZ8-Im7M

It's sad that kids are gonna grow up never knowing what that's like. It's all streaming, and it's in the palm of your hand. You turn your tv way down so that you don't alert your parents, and you sit in complete silence, right up close so that you can hear it. Jericho Road goes so hard. The conversation between Fara and Wolf carried somber, almost haunting undertones despite the warm palette, counterculture decor and casual sounding dialogue (not to mention Fara dismissing his warnings.) Even when I had no idea what was going to happen (and have never played star fox) this bittersweet, sickening feeling still crept in while watching that scene. Anyway overall the atmosphere in this soundtrack just delivers so much crushing tension. "Stand Off" --absolutely mesmerized by that scene, "You know I'm getting off this train", and the reactions from the lemurs... just, wow.

I discover the channel when episode 2 drops, immediately go watch episode 1, and then episode 2, am shocked by the quality of the story telling, voice acting, and especially music, and I'm left wanting to hear the music on its own. Then the next day this drops and man, it's incredible. Both opening themes stand out, then Jericho Road is amazing for the tone setting it was responsible for in that scene, it didn't stand out, but it was there, made things feel oddly uneasy, and for whatever reason it goes hard af in the end. The Violence also is so odd... I recognize every single sample from this Nintendo 3Ds Daw that exists, and it's actually so exactly identical that I'm curious if you actually used that software, I think it was called Rytmik Retrobits... but anyways, you made that nostalgic as hell is what I'm saying and it really fits in as retro video game music. Standoff is masterful at building tension, and then Final Ride is so incredibly atmospheric, it's really perfect for that last scene. Anyways yeah, I liked the music lol, episode 3 of this is really gonna be incredible to see when it comes, I wish you luck.
